It's sad to say but my garage is chalk full of stuff atm.


My best friend passed away in the spring, and my friends and I cleaned out his room he had been renting. It's all in my garage.

I want to do a yard sale and give the proceeds to a diabetic fund. But I gotta do it.

They really only need to be given access to the floors and other surfaces to clean. If you can shove anything into a closet, dresser, under a bed, etc. for the time being so they can clean then you're golden.

I really want to do this.

I feel like such a lazy ass and I've never gotten people to clean for me before, but this spring was super shitty for me. I dealt with:

Yearbook
The play
my friend dying
daughter's school getting shut down
being on the PBIS team
trying to convert all my lessons over to being a 1-to-1 school
being threatened by a student
helping get our schools media page going


This ontop of my normal teaching stuff like grading papers, helping students through depression, etc. etc.

It was so rough and it shows in the lack of taking care of my home.

Even my body.

I lost 22 lbs last year and gained 30 this year.


My brain is shot.

I had the added laziness layer that I am on two months vacation. I SHOULD be able to do it, but I can't bring myself to do it.

I have to say, coming home and mowing feels great after a shitty day at work. It's a ride on so I don't have to do much work beyond emptying the catch and driving it. Lets me just decompress and zone out.

I signed my 4 year old son up for soccer. He cried for five minutes that he's no good at soccer and doesn't want to play.

Three hours later we went to Target and I let my children pick out their own t-shirts.

My son picks out a t-shirt with a large print of a soccer ball on it.
