    That was a pretty good first ep of the season. Are they going to release episodes weekly or the remainder of the season at a later date?

    I binged the first 8.5 or so episodes (power went out as I was watching ep 9). I've enjoyed it so far.

    Chozen has been the highlight of the season so far.

    I still have a little over 1 episode left, but if Hector doesn't show up again, that arc will have really disappointed me. He runs from the "FBI," blames Miguel for them showing up then runs off with him to hide only to let him walk away knowing where he planned to hide. For as bad of a person as they made him seem, it just seemed so unbelievable he would let a stranger do that.

    I'm hopeful for Tory's redemption arc.

    Still don't like LaRusso kid #2.

    Did anyone else feel like the Miguel/father scene end pretty fast? I mean I wasn't expecting an etire ep to why Miguel's father turned out the way he was but I was expect hoping to see Migeel realizing he made a major fuck up and with Jonny beating the fuck out out.

    I agree. It seems like they had no idea what they were doing and just wrapped it up fast. Looking back at it all, it just feels like unnecessary filler. The only "important" thing to come from it was the minor effect it had on getting Miguel and Robby to stop fighting. If there ends up being a Season 6, I hope they do something with Hector's character so it isn't a total waste.

    The season finale was a bit cheesier than usual, but overall okay. I wish they would make the fights look better, but they're likely just trying to stay similar to the movies. I didn't care for the crane kick finish, but I liked that he was beating Silver with his own strategy.

    Things I'd like to see concluded if we get a 6th season:
    -Chozen/Kimiko
    -What happens with the tournament.
    -Does Kim Da-Eun give up on her family's legacy?
    -Where does Kreese go from here?
    -Fucking do something with Hector. So much unused potential.

    Yeah they really did drop the ball with Hector. I wasn't expecting him for a full season but I was hoping for some more depth and actually seeing him do what makes him so dangerous. Or at the very least at the end have him try and stop Miguel when they were hiding in that shop which would force Miguel to confront him then later have Johnny find the two of them. I was crossing my fingers with how easy Miguel got out that he'd at least show up as one of Silver's goons. But yeah it's going to be interesting to see what they will do with Kreese. Didn't expect that part at the end.

    And yeah Chozen was pretty good in this ep. Lost my shit when he said "If this is a misunderstanding you better call an ambulance."

It was too green out in the "woods." He should have said up in the mountains on the phone since there are no woods in LA (CA is always on fire)

    Oh well that's what happens when you full commit to filming exteriors in a rainy Georgia.

    Exactly the right amount. I was worried the popularity of this show would keep it on the air past its shelf life, but next season is the perfect place to end it.
