Some interesting updates to the storyline but I think everything remains good so far.

I like the change that Mr. Miyagi didn't always have an upstanding image. Not that I had any problems with his character, but the change manages to make him more realistic as everyone in reality has some kind of dirt in their background.

I also wonder how Tori will come back to the good guys again, if ever. She's done a lot of back and forth, so I'm curious how she will ultimately turn out.

I agree about Miagi, I'm curious to see what they come up with after what we learned in that last episode.

Tori has been one of my favorite characters, so that last episode hurt.

The Kenny situation is also interesting. I was half expecting something to happen when they asked if anyone has seen him. Mainly because of how he was with his brother. I expect something to happen and Devon will come clean to stop Anthony from getting hurt more than he likely will.

Unless I'm missing something, each team should also have six fighters. Cobra Kai showed up with three guys plus Tori, so apparently there's two missing and I'm thinking Kenny could be one.

I agree with everyone else about episode 10. I had to look up if one of the senseis was Britt Baker (it was) because I either didn't know she was in it, or I forgot she was going to be.

I also looked up Zara and her character in the show doesn't seem too far off from the real her. lol

The story with Mr. Miyagi and the stolen pearls got me choked up lol.

Fantastic way to tie up that plot point. For a second I thought they were just gonna leave it up as a vague example that even someone like Mr. Miyagi had demons.

The truth behind the year he competed in the Sekai Takai. We know he entered after his wife and baby died and killed one of the other competitors, so we can assume it was him acting in anger/grief and making a horrible mistake, but they never actually clear up what happened.

There was drama between Martin Kove (John Kreese) and Alicia Hannah-Kim (Sensei Kim Da-Eun) at a convention, when Kove bit into Alicia's arm and apparently got mad at her for understandably getting upset at such a nasty and random thing to do.
