Fucking community... 6v6 quickplay is going to be garbage. Unless they're making the maps larger, it's going to be a shit show.
New Annual Pass, with 3 DLCs after Forsaken?
Watched the video, was appeased.
Random weapon rolls = about fucking time.
I'm legitimately worried about PvP going forward.. If the crucible becomes a disaster, it will completely be due to Bungie bending to the whims of its community and ignoring their job as professional game designers..................

This really feels like Bungie taking a lot of what has worked from WoW and throwing it into Destiny 2. I can only see this as being a net positive thing in the long run. WoW and Blizzard have in many ways set the standard for MMO-ish content, and it seems Destiny is trying to move heavily in that direction.
- Gambit is extremely similar to the new island expeditions from WoW
- Achievements/titles system from WoW
- Collections/set tracker from WoW
- Annual Pass (renamed/retooled subscription) from WoW
The only thing that is curious to me is the timing of Gambit considering that Island Expeditions is a brand new game-mode coming to WoW coming in August with the next expansion, and then Gambit is coming out a month later for Destiny 2 with the next expansion. The timing of these events is so close together, I can't help but wonder if there was some form of collaboration between the teams at Blizzard and Bungie on this new gamemode given that both are Activision/Battle.net
Re - Gambit:
One involves collecting 6,000 items without fighting a final boss, the other involves collecting 75 items and then fighting a final boss. Both are dependent on collecting x items to win the game over the opposing team, and both offer some hybrid form of PvP/PvE.
Which faction do I want? lv 25 Warlock Dead Orbit has some cool stuff but so does Future. I don't know what I'm doing just starting up warmind.
