Yeah but nobody did as far as I know. The team that got through it actually figured it out but everyone else spread the rumor that they lucked their way through it.

I think Datto's group didn't know what to do -- was skimming it trying to get to Riven and they straight up say things like "try x" and sound surprised when it works.

On the bright-side, reached the execution point that so many of the streamer groups got stuck. On the less bright-side, got stuck there too..........

Could do one full cycle through the damage phase, but couldn't do it consistently enough to do two in a row

Which part was giving you guys trouble? Also, what were the loadouts?

Both killing knights and DPS. We even had a glitch where 3 of us had infinite Rez tokens and still sucking. We did really good DPS until we all ran out of sleeper then it just died

If knights are causing problems and you're using the dreaming city gear, you might want to consider the Transcendent Blessing mod to replace Riven's curse. Ikelos works well for melting the knights as you can melee a thrall as it is spawning and then unload. For Kalli, offensive supers can help with damage, as can tethers, well, and melting point (although you need to be careful of dying to her slam for that one). People should pretty freely be using supers to damage her -- I was using mine to kill my knight, then getting enough orbs to do it again during the damage phase, and getting enough again that I could use it to kill the knight the next time. Also, if you're not getting heavy ammo, if you stand on the lip of the ledge above the first set of doors with a shotgun with range (Ikelos works), you can unload on her and she won't slam.

I will say though, I was at the next delta and would not call it an easy encounter.

Not gonna lie, a bit jealous about that glitch. Would have made Riven doable.. probably.

As a point of reference for those wanting to try the new raid, I did the first encounter above 541, the second and third above 546, the fourth at 550.9 (cause of five energy weapon drops in a row......), and strongly believe the fifth is doable at 551 as well. Being higher would obviously help, and I'm sure there are people who have pulled them off at lower, but those should be reasonable starting points.

Might be a while before Riven is calm enough to test this, but I wonder if you're shooting all her eyes during one cycle. We've been assuming it's random and you need to keep track of the eyes, but she has ten eyes, one teams shoots two on floor one, the other shoots two on floor two, and then the teams together shoot six on floor three. It's not the biggest deal, but might make it a little easier if you miss one or two on the top floors.

They glow during the identification phase after you stagger her by shooting her tentacle or her mouth, but not when you have to destroy them.

Even better you're almost at 15 motes and your teammates keep sniping your motes. When you finally go to turn 15 in, the enemy sends over a large blocker half a second earlier.
