I told it to buy 5 at 61 (this was on Saturday). I assumed it would just buy them at open. When I woke up this morning (~30mins ago) I saw the jump but it showed I had 0 shares but my buying power was still limited due to the orders. I saw that it said the order would be cancelled at the end of the day if it wasn't able to be filled, so I cancelled it and bought manually. Originally Posted by Salodin

Yea, not how it works. When you buy after hours you are put into a Q. As the market opens up, you are in a line with everyone else that tried to buy after hours. As things are being sold to everyone in line, you get in when it is your turn no matter the price. That is the risk of aftermarket trading. Originally Posted by Tomiko

Also certain brokers trade at different times. Webull is 4am-8pm, robinhood is 930-4 I think, etc etc

Yeah you don't need to look. Pick your limit sales and relax. You'll have plenty of time to get out when the squeeze happens too, even if you miss the absolute peak.
