AG, I'm going to let you in on a little secret
Spoiler: show
i stand by it
Those metrics are such bullshit and it does nothing but screw the company over. I worked for a fast food chicken chain well over a decade ago and they implemented something similar, but for the drive thru. Wendy's was killing it on drive thru speed and so to compete, the cooperation pushed all chains to have timers installed at both the order speaker and the window. For the speaker, we were timed the moment the car landed on the sensor and we'd have 45 seconds to take and their order. Once they got to the window we were given 60 seconds to perform the transaction, hand them their food, and send them on their way. We had to achieve 70% on orders at the speaker at 75% window time for our internal reviews and we had a large LED display that showed us our performance. It was the most ridiculous and dumbest shit I had ever witnessed because they were asking for the impossible.
Most of the time when people get to the speaker, they don't know what they want and so they spend time looking at the menu or asking people in the car what their order is. This was the hardest metric to complete and we would often do the "anything else" response to try to get them to hurry. It was pretty shitty from a customer service standpoint but our managers kept pushing us. Then when customers got to the window, they often would fiddle around with their wallets, purses, etc to get their cash or credit cards. This is why a lot of fast food places like McDonalds will park you while they continue to make your food as we often did the same thing. At one point our store got in trouble for parking a customer that happened to be a secret shopper so from then on out we just said fuck it and cheated the system by having employees late at night go thru the drive thru multiple times to boost our numbers.
Omfg my biggest drive thru pet peeve is pulling up to the window, saying I need a moment, and no lie 3 seconds later its "what can I get you?"
Like bitch I just said give me a moment i don't give a flying fuck about your numbers dont rush me

Lmao I wish. Dudes acting like, first off, 100k in loan forgiveness per employee is nbd. Nevermind nonpayroll expenses can be forgiven too.
Giving companies 24 weeks to spend the money guarantees none of it is getting paid back though
I didn't see that coming
Let's revisit this when 6 months + random extensions are up and we see what repayments look like, after foia are needed to pry them out of this admins hands

There is going to be almost no repayments, it was literally free money

United Airlines to lay off 36k. It's nearly 50% of their total staff.
Congress is absolutely capable of saving the airline industry with bailouts but theyre too busy passing sba loans that businesses like archis can't even take advantage of
Really great outcomes on the horizon lemme tell you

congress capable of something
lol
saladin flailing wildly today
just bail em out bro, just cut a check, while complaining about that very thing
one cool thing about bailing out the airlines is we could watch the CEOs jump out of airplanes with literal golden parachutes, would be kinda sick
Brooks Brothers filed for bankruptcy.
I really like their classic style and non-iron shirts. Hopefully they'll survive.
By God, the only way to run an economy is to funnel as much wealth to the richest people as possible, overheat the market until everything crashes, bail out the biggest companies so they can crush or absorb any competition that couldn't weather the fall, and then repeat.
