No, you can only get awakening materials for said units and it's on a rotation. Given how GL is going we'll get an even worse system in place (if we get one at all).

I'll hoard every now and then, but I usually blow through rare tickets as I get them. lately I've been going hard on any banner just in hopes to pull a dupe unit to make a 7 star. literally just got my first 7 star (olive thanks to UoC).

I do every daily pull, every free pull (0 rainbows from 5% daily lol), etc

Normally I don't either note I wasn't when this started. I only happen to have a rough idea now because I got none from the daily blue campaign and haven't gotten any doing daily 1/2 for a decent portion of that time (though not whole time since was trying to build up lapis for whenever next step up is because yay for at least having good odds then) and had been hoarding tickets for months so blew them and all I got from this event on nostalgia. Which gives me even a rough idea how many of those were at 5% odds so at this point should've averaged about 7 in the time I got 1

So about that mag DH thing I was saying... can confirm it works on Rinoa. Basically separate sources are being multiplied separately instead of added together then multiplied. Probably works on Dark fina too.

Though of all will work best on Shantotto since both Rinoa can't use a rod doing this so loses out on both 50% mags and wont cap even with shantotto STMR and dark fina either has to as well or lose 30% innate from not using a whip again same thing (though maybe with seabreeze stmr it will balance out idk though could always throw dragonlord stmr on shantotto for even more)

@Cyn It's worth it for people like me that weren't around for DQ MK first time around. Same situation as when everyone threw Lightning up, there are people who haven't done every old event.

True, but I'd like to think there are events that not everyone has finished, esp since in the past Gumi has done things to warrant breaks from the game (looks at Sep 2017 slew of game breaking bugs).

DQ MK is actually really nice. Pull on the raid banner and get the Marquis for base 80% units. Don't forget, LMS is worth 3M exp so might be worth to pull and throw them at some 7*. The weapons are decent, Ribbon, the abilities (fixed damage can be useful). I'll set DL 6* for you (I'm pulling for 7*).
