Pretty simple. Bring a Xon or Cedona and enough summoner power to fill the gauge consistently each turn (really only the first turn is hard a Garnet LB + tornados will refill it 99% of the time and a 2nd summoner can easily do the rest if not).
First turn fill gauge and evoke.
After that you follow 2 turn cycle. Starting on that turn you send your Xon or Cedona away, dmg it in some way and fill evoke gauge again (kydia pretty good multiple purpose for this since DC tornado and gauge filling for first turn when you can't deal dmg with tornado to get orbs)
Next turn/turn in cycle Xon/Cedona comes back summon Phoenix to both flinch the dragon and bring everyone back.
Rinse repeat experiment with how to deal as much dmg while filling gauge in your dmg turns. 7* Dragonlord Kafrizzling into Tornados pretty good but really you could just tornado/Dark fina tornado for the 5-10% a turn depending on gear. Make sure not to heal or do defensive stuff for funsies. If a unit survives long enough to get to dispel bite it might petrify not killing it
What's the cheese method?
Also CG Citra and Folka better have random Jake popping in.
Any tips for 2* Leviathan or Phoenix? Phoenix looks like magic tank + build esper gauge + burst from 40% (I think Hyoh can skip the fire/heal sealing). Leviathan just looks insane lol
Leviathan is a pain in a half that required resetting turns to survive, much harder then previous 2*. 7star power creep should handle it ok now tho
Problem I ran into is Levi would follow up the imperil with a with a strong water move before I could dispel my team and sometimes do that right after it buffed it's mag... that and the wiki says it does it on subsequent turns instead of same.
Honestly I think speed is your best bet here to an extent. Like just kill it before it builds up to doing Surge, Raging Waters, Ferocious Current or bubbles or rage. Or just easy mode with lapis reset into chains with LB/Esper finishes
It's just one of those fights where everything has to happen in a certain order and no steps can be missed because it will 100% wipe you in a single turn. Other than that though it's a pretty boring fight because you aren't really taking any damage, but you also can't get creative or decide to do anything other than follow the steps. (IIRC of course, I only fought it the once not long after it came out.)
eh gross. good to know though. I'll have to look up a guide and follow it for him
Phoenix, on the other hand... LOL. Hyoh's LB killed him from 100%. it's just a matter of tanking shit until you get the missions cleared then go, screw the mechanics. his dialogue is pretty good though
And like I said things happened completely out of the order I read in the wiki hence my problems. If it had worked just like that would've been relatively easy to handle everything.
I don't know if people posting didn't see the full stuff or it's changed but it'd do multiple problematic things in a single turn that were supposed to not happen on the same turn that I could've 100% dealt with if they weren't on the same turn or at least not in the order done on that turn.... like I could go sans magic tank if I could just dispel water imperil and put up water buff before it does AoE water move... and sometimes it did wait till next turn and sometimes it didn't. I could tank it with a 200% water tank but then I'd have trouble with the AoE physical plus then it would do 80% mag into the non elemental move killing the mag tank even with 60% mag break. Of course in 7* meta things be different
my plan is just to stall and then Hyoh LB his ass down
first turn: set up buffs, magic cover, chain with normal attacks to build LB
second turn: delita is now petrified and you forgot to bring petrify cures
WELL THEN
Still trying to figure out how I wanna do the bonus fights since I need to bring someone's magic tank, but I also wind up lacking the offense to zerg them down because haha what's a Hyoh.
I haven't even touched that yet. I have all the pieces, I just don't want to deal with it lol. it looks... just... so ugly
Same. I got face stomped the first time I tried it, because I was super distracted. Decided to ignore it and wait for my pink floaty mages of destruction later this week maybe.
Yeah it is, but it's sorta doable. I went in with: CG Fina, CG Nichol, Mystea (50% lightning, 80% fire, 90% wind/water/earth resist), CG Lid, 1x 1.3k ATK 6* Hyoh, Oravis's 2.1k 7* Hyoh. All had status immune and CG Lid had Pod 153.
Brachiosaur:
T1: Fina Doublecast Dispelga + RR on Mystea, Mystea magic cover to sacrifice for Ultima, Nichol Buffs, Lid debuffs ATK/MAG, Hyoh chains flame blade to build Espers Gauge.
T2: Fina retained self and heals, Nichol heals mp/builds LB, Mystea magic cover, Lid uses Mirage to try and build Espers Gauge, Hyoh auto attacks (Brachiosaur is easily killable, but need espers for trust moogle).
Repeat T1 when thresholds hit, DON'T take him below 50%, he uses snort, have Hyoh defend instead.
Once espers gauge filled, Hyoh chain and get espers kill condition.
Greater Demon:
T1: Fina use element resist buff, Mystea magic cover, Lid use ATK break, Hyoh usual chain.
Thresholds: Have Fina rr Mystea and herself (in case bad luck and she gets hit by flare), Mystea tanks the AOE gravity.
Have Nichol Doublecast Blizzaja/Waterja and Fina tops her health (for Intangir) and Hyoh chain kill him.
Intangir:
He preempts with meteor, so have Fina with high HP/SPR to survive.
T1: Fina Reverse Heart revives everyone not dead, Nichol Buffs if lived, everyone recover mp, buff, or defend, DO NOT ATTACK until next turn deep slumber.
T2: Fina RR herself + Nichol, Mystea Dispel Intangir buffs, Nichol Buffs/recover MP, Lid breaks ATK/MAG, Hyoh chains, don't triple blade, it'll one shot him (at least for me).
Repeat T1 and T2.
When ready to kill, have Lid debuffs DEF/SPR, Hyoh chain LB to kill, Nichol summons esper.
That's what I did, I know I got blessed with good units, so not everyone will be able to replicate, but hopefully helps.
Killed the 2-Headed Dragon, nothing left but Venomous Vines of Death.
