Chasing Nichol got me nothing yet.
I'm thinking maybe I should've just enhanced Soleil.
Yeah, but cleaning out my stash of tickets, using Lapis on the bundle and other stuff just has meh 'ehh'. I really should've learned my lesson when I tried to chase Noctis (who I ended up with eventually) and Loren.
Maybe Zarg's enhancements will make him comparable. Only CG unit I have (that I got basically by accident) is Lid.
I mean it could be worse.
I could have ended up with C(reepy)G(randpa) Jake.
It could absolutely change, but the last update was data mined and his enhancements were in there. They turned out to be:
It doesn't really make him competitive with Nichol I don't feel, but he's still solid. The AoE stop resistance tied to 100% buffs is nice. Extra damage mitigation and extra duration is greatly appreciated, Word of Law having a two turn duration really killed rotations. We'll have to see what they do with his 7* to see if he really comes into his own with some unique buffs.Code:Rejuvenate (+1) Regenerate HP and MP for one ally over time (+2) Boosts HP and MP recovery amount over time (high) Boosts turns in effect for HP and MP regeneration over time (mid) Automatically revive an ally one time. Awesome, thanks:
Guessing fully enhanced they top out around 100% maybe? Pales in comparison to CG Nichol, I know, but tired of blowing resources that might be better saved elsewhere.
Did a daily pull, got Annika.
Did 2 tickets, first was Mario, second was Rico.
So.... guess I'm all done here.

Edit: Double
Didn't 4*+ Ticket made On-banner Rainbows 100%? Or was it 50%? I have such a hard time remember numbers.
Yeah i noticed recently that most of my on banner rainbows have come from 4* tickets. I was wondering if it was intentional or not.
No such distinction AFAIK. It's 3% rainbow base with 1% on banner, 2% off banner. I dunno the split on 4* tickets since they're 5% rainbow, but I assume it keeps the 1/3rd ratio so technically a slightly bit higher chance of getting an on banner per ticket.
Its something I recall with On banner rates between 3* and 4* Tickets. I know with a Basic ticket you have 20%(?) Chance at on-banner Blue, and a 25% Chance at on-banner Gold (split as necessary) and with Rainbow its 33% On. With a 4*+ Ticket your On-banner rate for gold goes from 25% to 50%, I thought Rainbows got a similar bump in rate.
This is all foggy memory from when we were just getting 4*+ tickets and people were comparing it to JP, so it could be different in global.
Either way its not 100%, which was my surprise cause I swore it was either 50% or 100% with a 4*+. Cause I pulled a Dark Veritas (yay 7* i guess) today with a 4* ticket.
Edit: PS Anyone been getting "Merc Ramza'd" a bit too fucking much lately? Between me and my 2 brothers we've had maybe 5 Merc Ramza's pop into existence in our last like 10 collective Rainbows. Both of their 5* Ticket from the 5,000 Bundle were Merc ramzas lol.
IIRC, 4* ticket has 5% chance of 5*. It's ~47.5% chance of on-banner gold, 47.5% off-banner gold. 2.5% on-banner rainbow, 2.5% off-banner rainbow.
So its basically like the extra pull with a 11 pull?
They should have the exact same rates, yes.
Anyone with JP experience know how useful certain 5* TMRs are? Specifically I've got 4 Rem, 4 Lila, 3 Lunera and 3 Ace. I can make a case for and against having at least 2 of all of them but I can also see mostly needing just the 1 for the unit. Rem seems the most useful for multiple with the HP/MP 30% for healers and supports. Lila ATK build is best as doublehand even if she gets free dual wield fist. So, I can easily justify in my head a reason to get multiple of them but at the same time, it looks too easily like they would be wasted as well. Other units that I have multiples of are much easier to decide the usefulness of their TMR like my 3 Elfreedas which I've maxed all 3 or my 2 Lightnings which I know I only need 1.
Got two rainbows from Nichol's banner... Emperor #3, Knight Delita #3. FU game![]()
Personally, I'd do all the Ace and Rem, one Lunera, two if you get a 4th Lunera (2x Lunera chaining would be pretty beastly on demons), and two Lila so you can have a dark chaining elemental option (if it's ever needed) in the future. Kinda plays into what you were getting at, some you can come up with a reason to have multiple, others, it's harder. I personally like having the base stat options because you never know when you might need to mix and match to get the most out of multiple stats.
JP announced they'll be releasing new 5* versions of old 3* units that were included at launch. First up is a 5* Golbez. Guess there's hope for all the main series characters that got the short end of the stick.
Are they ever gonna give original jake, lid sakura and nichol 6* forms and an equipment fight?
