And fuck trying to get killer effects has really hit home how terrible the skill grid has become on 3*. Like I understand (though don't really agree as long as resetting costs lapis) with not being able to get everything and you haven't before but you were able to get rather large chunks and get most the abilities and such and just miss out on some stats. But fuck man lvl 60 Ifrit gets 845 SP and the grid has like 2700 worth of stuff. Just getting the killer effects stops me from getting any of the blazing evocations or stat reflections or fire resists. Basically choosing 1 corner to do now lol

2x Jake(One with Pod), 1x Sakura, 1x Rikku, 1x Rico and whatever friend I can get.

I with Jake wasn't trash and I had leveled the second one, at least then I could chain with him... using Pod only works barely on single wielding because Pod is a moving ability and Chaos Object is stationary though they "chain" with eachother. so I built my Jake for Double hand right now and am using him to chain with Rico and Sakura finishing... gets me through it fine for the most part.

I'm using sakura, Lid, and 3x Nichol... sometimes other times I'll throw in Fina. Had to switch to sharing Nichol since had to take all my mage gear from Sakura to try and fail at Iron Giant trial lol. Hoping can find another evasion tank friend before the other on naturally comes back

Went from having 0 DW equip/ability to having an aqua sword, 1 DW from event, pulled Zidane(working on a moggle)

Start defeating chambers above 5*
Get enough units/gear to do some 10man trials.

Using 2x BS Sakura, Icy Hot, MS Nichol and LM Fina. Jake can sit and spin and I don't have Lid yet.

Did the first run through from BGN to LGD and had enough to buy the 5* Moogle lol.

Edit: I can change my Icy Hot (1.2k ATT) to BS Sakura (1k MAG) if people prefer.

I find that hard to believe honestly. I've only done one but I got like 300 lapis from it? Unless the other stories give more I'm not sure where this 4.2k comes from.

Just did the fina one and your supposed to counter her moves with what she uses on you. One is arcane magics. Well one of the missions is no arcane magics, wtf. Dark fina got mad at me when I didn't use arcane magics.

Too bad. Now that you're back to playing, if you missed it, you may be interested that JP is beginning to release units who were set to 3* or 4* at the launch of the game. Golbez was the first unit to get this treatment. Maybe Fran will show up some day.
