I got lukewarm lasswell this morning. I was hoping for fina though

Oh yeah; I'm quite happy with him. I might leave him at 5* until I level his LB some more.

I used the Setzer strat and he was dead pretty quickly, super easy. Setzer /w as much Beast Killer as possible (and wind weapon), eZarg (any support will do), Basch with light resistance, wind chainers (Lexa and Barb friend in my case).

Did something similar except good boi for tank and stop resist(150% light resist with just a ring and carby is nice lol) took like 1.5k-2k dmg from the other moves a turn at most. Just kind of cycled between confuse, dual casting the fortune/courageus stance and the mp restore one. wind chainers and setzer. Even with a ton of bad rolls and only having beast killer from 1 materia and ifrit and getting distracted and losing a good 7 turns between stop and confuse still only took 29 turns.

Honestly if I didn't care about time and could easily I could probably switch one of the tornados to an high mp Ayaka and do none stop repeat having Nichol restore mp, Ayaka give confuse resist, good boi tanking with some kind of auto regen or counter healing, and sezters dicing... actually if I had a 2nd enhanced beast killer sezter that might have been faster just because no need to deal with menus lol

Not having a whole lot of luck getting bonus mobs on legend. Still getting 4700 currency a run but haven't had a single bonus run. The anniversary tickets aren't doing much for me either. All blues and crappy ones at that. Best part is the free 5% moogle.

I had a 7-rounder the very first run, and not much since. I see all these pictures of 7 and 8 round runs where people are getting 7 bonus mobs and 50k points and it makes me sad.

Also, all pulls this weekend were shit. So many blue crystals.

So i thought i was being clever last night with a macro script i set up to try to get the summoning trophy. I have 4 100 garnets, MS nichole and a friend unit with a support summon. I was able to get the script to summon almost 1000 times before it crashes while i was asleep last night. When i logged in on my phone the battle was cancelled and i didnt get credit for any of the summons. Great.

OK, back long ago, think when Prishe premiered and 7* was just announced in JP, I quit due to the game being too big for my old phone. I now have a new phone and am reinstalling FFBE, anyone able to clue me in what has changed in a year? I heard CG chars are all the rage now. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Well it's the usual really, powercreep made sure you'll need a whole new team unless you have 7* ready units It's always ups and downs with Gumi anyway so we're about to hit 7* with no hint or clue about potential systems to make 5* units easy to get! If you can pull do it now on the CG only banners (the one popping in the next couple days is the better one).

Thanks, of 7* units, I made a list before I quit and they are: Olive, Tidus, and DKC. Assuming the upgrade system is still just 1 dupe needed. Also thanks for the banner tip. I should still have 5k+ lapis since I left right after the game got hacked last year.

Olive and DKC are supposedly on the first batch of 7* for GL but we don't have full confirmation yet. Sadly both are finishers so not super useful I'm afraid but Olive may be really good, especially with her enhancements.
You'll probably have a bunch of free tickets to use so spend the EX/anniversary ones right away and keep the regulars you may have for the Nichol/Lid banner. Also grind story to get more Lapis to pull here as you're guaranteed to get CG units and those two can cover your breaker/buffer slots. If you get lucky and snatch a CG Fina as well you're mostly set as a team, only need a solid tank/cover tank.

Edit: On a different topic... their handling of the Kain situation is simply insulting. Now he was never meant to perfect chain with Lila lol... why even fucking announce it then? What's the point in changing a skill to only half chain with someone else? People who spent money on his banner are mad and rightfully so.
