Oh yeah so the orb counter on the home menu seems to be possibly broken. Just had it not change for awhile and was like what's up considering I've refreshed and done arena which has it's orbs updating... and yep at 10 instead of the 8 the home page showed.

so for the orbonne thing, which I missed last time, two questions:


- I should clear the explorations, but farm the battle stages?
- there are no bonus units for the battle stages, correct?

it's been like this for me always. I forget the exact circumstances but yeah it sometimes just doesn't refresh until you close/open the app or use an orb or whatever.

I mean for regular raids, I have had this issue before. the gear thing I think might be if your unit was equipping the piece of gear you wanted to augment? If not that then I have no clue haha


also I found this quote in a guide for Orbonne... my, how times have changed. "Physical AoE can be used if your ATK is very high, 300-400 and higher" LOL

Bonus units are Ramza, Delita, Alma, Agrias and Gaffgarion I believe. Drop rate is shit even in ELT and yes, stages are better. Farm what you need and get out, clear Explorations for the crafting mats.

Nope. It's tidus and I'm augmenting my rod. Oddly the unit that did have that rod Only lost that piece of gear none of the rest or materia were touched unlike the waterboi

My bad, there were no bonus units the first time either but those were the banner units at the time. They also increased the NRG required for the stages but didn't increase currency at all so... w/e :/ Glad I'm done with this, good luck farming if they don't fix it.

haha thanks. good luck indeed. it's pretty awful. no bonus mobs either. it's not quite mogcake level but yeah... this is a great reminder of how bad events used to be.


I'm getting the katana for sure, no question. too useful to ignore. considering the shield; undead killer on a shield is neat but that means you aren't DH or DW which means you're not really DPSing so... we'll see. I want the tickets but ugh probably not worth it unless they fix the event.

Going to farm enough to get Chirijiraden, fortunately just clearing everything once gets you halfway there. Still need about 20 runs of ELT to finish the rest.

FFBE's NRG for trials/chamber of arms is way too high. It disincentives actual learning how battles function >.>

Going to skip out on the katana. Amount if items gotten through ELT is so low. I'd rather just TMR out a Hoemaru.

Pretty much could easily blow a days worth of nrg working things out... which I guess if you're whale out doesn't matter much but for those who have a long list of things to do with nrg/lapis I'd rather not go into these things without being rather certain I can win and get all the missions

Yeah I wasted alot of energy pots trying to beat sheratan last night. 50per try. I'm doing enough runs to get the tickets I missed out on last time then I'm done with that event. Already have katana and shield. No reason for doubles if we can get them again. Think I might try Bowie knife in item world once I get off of work.

MAG+15% and MP+10% on Defender's Daggers. I'm ok with it but I think I'll try going around with that one again just to see if I can do better.

PAD eventually implemented a system whereby if you failed a dungeon you didn't lose energy. FFRK's megabosses tend to have 1 NRG costs (although I haven't played that in a while). I imagine Gumi will follow suit...

I was on level 7 of the item world and my game crashed. Attempting to restart the game caused it to crash repeatedly until I cleared the quest data. Soooo yeah, I lost all progress and 7 orbs. I guess what the game giveth, the game taketh away. What a piece of shit.

Record Keeper also has higher stamina costs on certain high end content but if you fail they return all the stamina so... yeah. Gumi could learn a thing or two as right now you either look up a guide or you're screwed with Trials.

Even if you look up guides, you can still be screwed. Experience is the best teacher for all things.
