I had pretty solid luck with item world on Friday/Saturday getting the 15% HP/Attack along with another total 15% attack on Masamune. I also got a total of 20% attack on one ice katana, and auto refresh, 15%HP/attack on the second ice katana. Also had semi nice returns on a couple Draco Spikes. Since then, I have walked away with a lot of MAG options for katana. I enjoy this but getting nothing but 3%s all the way up to floor 7 is rough.

Waiting for my 10th orb to refresh to finish up, but I've got an Ulric's Kukri with HP+25% and DEF+10% on it now, that's not bad at all for a new tank knife.

Oh, I did Ulric also, got 15% hp and 10% SPR/DEF. Not opposed to it, but would like a bit more. Will redo it after attempting to get better ice katana results.

I managed to get a +30% mag Draco spike, and two high HP bowie knifes

Shooting for a +45% gun but with my luck I'll never see it

About to work on wing edges, should I go for spr, mp, hp, or def?

It's a physical evasion weapon so DEF is useless. I'd go with either HP or SPR honestly depending on which cover/provoke tanks you're planning to use it on.

decided to take on Alfadoofus this week. he looks pretty simple with the right setup. dodge tank, Sara for thresholds, counter 50% threshold, nuke down with Tornado + Bahamut + whatever else. Sasuke's Katana is probably the #1 non-TMR weapon to work on this week

Doing new scorn of surging menace... manage to finagle a team that one shots all but the last round. Get demon down to 60% in first attack while dealing some light dmg and putting on status resist and full esper/lb gauges but hey wiki says doing light on 2 turns makes it not doing anything next turn so decide to play it safe and not go for kill there... yeah no it flinched from the light and still did threshold moves and of course flared 1 of my chainers. Probably could've still killed next turn if anyone else had died /sigh. Wiki failing me again

Nice job what worked for ya? I'm getting pissed from losing to Intangir about 6 times and wanted to try Menace for a change of pace.

dual kydias chaining with DL finishing. MS Nichol bringing the buffs/mp battery and marie bringing -resist and debuff protection on demon. 6th can basically be anything to get your esper requirements though more mp regain would be nice given DLs massive mp usage lol. Could probably use other magic chainers but being able to tornado or quake and then have a long huge hit LB for kill was nice and BS sakuras could probably finish fine as well. But yeah don't need to worry about attacks if you one shot everything but demon and 2 shot that so only have to deal with threshold moves

Intangir is pretty easy if you can cheese it.

Finally got Aldhafara done. Used Evil's guide for it, with just changing Chizuru for Zargabable. Evade counter tank too stronk.

GL upgrades to SO units are pretty nice, especially Rena's. But no 7* confirmation kinda puts me off regardless if you add my awful luck lately :/ May be worth some 4* tickets for Fidel's TMR but that's really it imo.

I'll probably decide on my pull after I see the data mines. I suspect all units will get a 7* version eventually so it's really only a when.

also I might pull hard for Fayt; that sword is fantastic. huge upgrade to Lightbringer and Beatrix loooooooooves light-elemental swords

So what's the strategy for Surging Menace? Just bring a team that can one-shot everything to the end?

I'm going to try and get 1 Rena and 1 Fayt at least, those TMs are too good.
