Probably. It's taking already good stuff and making it better even if it's a little better still better. Already doing a ton more of rng grinds for rewards in form tmrs.

Also of note it's about 3k rank xp a round (floor 1-10) so getting another 7k rank xp a day is not bad. Some good stuff from completion points. Full clear is 4.2 mil gil, 20% trusts in moogles, 4* ticket, 10 of each 6* awakening material 10 of each megacrysts (also get several per run)

I hate grindy events and even I'm doing item world. it's insanely quick; one-round battles that are super easy (up until the last two, which are still very manageable). are the rewards worth it? not always, but the investment is so small that why not?


plus there are raid-style rewards as you gain event points. so yeah, you are missing out bigly if you're not doing item world

Best part of item world is that it’s free to play, just at the cost of orbs. It’s technically a free gacha to make your good weapon even better.

I'm actually working on a plan for them now but I have no ice weapons or strong ice users so finishing up an ice TMR now to try out a strat I think should work for getting full clear so let you know how that goes when I try (just winning is pretty easy though since mom and dad are basically one shottable with a couple chainers or a strong finisher if they can do ice/fire.)

So guess all the bahamut people won so I don't need to put up DL?

The only thing that pisses me off is that they didn't adjust the ranking reward points for GL. I'm gonna miss out on the last few if I don't refresh :/ It's not a big deal but I don't like it anyway lol.

I dunno who you guys are talking about with DL. All I can think of is Dynamis Lord, god damn decade on FFXI not helping me right now.

For Bomb Festival, it's extremely niche since they've got like the perfect friend unit, but this guy did it with prolly the bare minimum I'd imagine. Having a Cloud setup perfectly for ice finishing with his LB is definitely niche. I'm sure we could get this setup inhouse though I'd think. I can pretty much do the same build, though I don't have Fry's Needle. The best thing I could use would be an Ice Brand, though I bet it'd still work out.

I'm strugglong pretty hard with surging menace. I got to the demon once so far and wiped to it as a result of not using maries status guard on the first turn. I only have one dragonlord friend and bs sakura doesn't cut it.

As far as bomb yeah I don't have needle (or much in the way of TDH either) which is why I'm gunna go with ex aileen once I get this spear done. Similarly high LB mods though not as high much better selection so pretty sure I can get higher atk/demon killer my rough math puts in me into probably being able to 1 shot mom though not sure how potted she is since not even done leveling her lol. Also her main dmg move gets her to LB fast

Edit: Finally get rare augment on my for glory of evil... and only other mag aug I get is 5%... but I only had 22% before and 22% is effectively the same as 20% when you going for cap so I'll 15% extra mp... then last floor I had to choose between 10% mp or hp. Fuck it most my mages can use more hp and only dragonlord is that hungry for mp

Seems a data miner has found the UoC alternative based on the MK pricing. For those that don't know, JP MK events have two Unit of Choice tickets that cost 1k and 150k MK currency. Collect 10, and you're able to choose any non-limited 5* unit of your choice, even brand new ones.

We appear to be getting 50% 5* tickets based on the data mine.

Finally got some gold Crystal's from the anniversary tickets only to see chloe x2. All blues until today and most were junk units.

Gonna take the wait and see approach when it comes to UoC vs 50% rainbow ticket. Meanwhile on reddit people already hate this. At least it's fun to read.
