FYI it's Dunes weekend! I always miss these until like, Sunday. with 7* coming up I figured it was worth reminding people

So obviously gonna wait till 7* is announced and what the first batch is and what I get with the 5* ticket (from youtube, not 10+1, came back too late for it). But I have a 100% trust moogle built up atm, I'm trying to decide between: Buster Style (Tidus 7* and Olive would benefit), Desch's Earring (to rep ATK +10% accessory), Prishe's Hairpin (upgrade over ATK+18 head).

I'm leaning toward Desch's Earring since it benefits all and it's the largest upgrade for ATK.

Buster Style all the way. the other two are good, but Buster Style is a game-breaking, meta-defining materia

Wouldn't buster style give more benefit since it doubles weapon attack?

If you have a 7* ready TDH user I don't see why you wouldn't go for Buster Style tbh.

Yeah I just rethought it out and realized it was a stupid question, 100% ATK gives Tidus +195 ATK over +45 ATK. Thanks for the advice guys.

Not knowing your units I'd do buster style a lot of things can benefit from TDH builds.

Also why you even using 10% atk accessory anyways right now? Sounds like you were gone awhile but an get 20/30% from SQ pretty easily craft a 15%. 2 flat 30s from trials few 20s from recent events (one of which even has DH) if you were here

And flat from armor accessories ... of course that means if you have some DH/TDH getting higher flat atk accessories is also better than it otherwise would be and gotta consider what it's replacing sometimes but yeah Buster style is often the best part of a TDH set marshall gloves being close second

I left right when the shitstorm of bugs happened after Gumi got hacked and the hackers gave everyone 5k Lapis, this was just after S1 concluded. The highest ATK+ acc out then was Icy Vein, which I didn't play enough to craft (did get DW dagger then).

As for trials, Aigeion was newly released then (and did it with glitched 2B dmg back then) and atm I am rocking enhanced WoL, CG Fina, enhanced Soleil, +1 enhanced Olive or Tidus or Shylt, and Reagen. Only other 5* I have is: Delita, enhanced DKC, enhanced Ace, VoL, OK, Gilgamesh, CG Jake, Cloud, and Lunera.

Edit: After seeing everyone's responses, I ended up not waiting and dumped the moogle into Cloud. Olive went up 200 ATK with it

For those who don't follow JP, they're currently celebrating the 1000th day of FFBE. There's a lot of campaigns and freebies being given out. Some of the cooler ones include:

-A full month of the entire season 1 story energy cost set to 1 - The last 1.5 weeks will have 1/2 energy cost for everything else
-10 days of 10 free pulls (100 pulls total)
-A free 5* ticket
-A blank TMR Moogle container (get any TMR you want by adding in a unit specific TMR moogle to set it's TMR, then enhance with all Moogles) included with ANY Lapis purchase, including the $1 pack - Useful for limited banner TMRs due to raid Moogles
-Enhanced enhancement rates every weekend of the month
-Some kind of daily treasure event for a week, with 10k Lapis being given on the final day
-Various QoL improvements, including: Party preset Save/Recall, selling every gil turtle, item/material/EQ/materia base slots increased from 150 to 300

Another thing we probably won't get is the story rewards reset that was done a month or two ago in JP. Basically they let you reset ALL missions for the story and collect all those lapis again.

Holy shit that combined with 1 nrg cost is kind of insane. Could probably do all of season 1 again in a day and have nrg to spare for all those rewards. Also kind of insane for megacryst, rank, and unit xp farming

Another thing we probably won't get

I think we're largely past that. The 2nd anniversary was much better than JP's, the CG banner had the Hero Coins which granted an additional 5* CG unit for every 5 pulls, something JP lacked. Our bundles have been, for the most part, at least ok and they haven't done anything egregious since the $50 5* cash summon. We even received a step up Cloud and Elfreeda banner which many loved.

I'm not white knighting, but I can't say I've been angry with them in recent times. The only real issues I've had is their admission of being at fault for falsely advertising Atoning Dragoon Kain and doing nothing about it, importing the bugs 2 updates ago and having absolutely piss poor communication concerning the issues, and the lack of addressing UoCs.

While we may not get everything above that was given during the 1000 day celebration, I bet we'll get something at least comparable. I'd be very surprised if we don't get the story reset, though like Dasva pointed out, I dunno if we'll get it at the same time as a 1 energy campaign. That's pretty crazy and throws all sorts of things outta whack. Rank farming with 700:1 exp to energy ratio would be massive for anyone who isn't already into the high 100s.
