luckily it is indeed raining cactuars. between dunes and the raid I have four units left to max from 1-100 and I'm confident I can finish all of them. I'm even doing Vagrant Rain just for fun because a) he's badass and b) story missions

I have a lot of units I want to max out, but I'm holding off and saving my maxed minituar kings for when 7* lands. I forgot how many it takes to go from 101-120, but isn't it like 6.. or 9? maxed minituar kings?

I think it is 6. I have 9 right now. Those and the LB pots are an inventory burden. Can't wait for 7*.

According to Claic you need 9.4 fully maxed king cactaurs to max at 120. He did a video around the same time as evil laughter 01 about cactaur fusing as well. At the top of his video its shows how much you would need for a 6* and 7*. Personally I've only got 2 maxed out kings so far.

It was the best Helm till A.D. Kain came with his +40 ATK. Its still good for those that can only use Helms(Veritas)

Just converting to 7 star makes them fairly powerful though doesn't it? Usually get their cooldown ability and LB power up. 7 star abilities are for filling out the kit so they can chain or finish or whatever they were deemed lacking in previous forms?

Depends on the unit really but I'm fairly sure they'll drop 7*s alongside our next Dunes weekend and possibly a fusion boost. And unless we skip ahead for whatever reason there will be no need to have 7*s capped at release.

I hate this as well. I'm all about convenience, but adding that convenience while making it far more lucrative to go the long way is really annoying.

My 10+1 gave me my 3rd Noctis today. I'm not unhappy with my haul, but RNG definitely swung low for me on my return tickets. I did great on the 10 4*s by getting 2 rainbows, my 2nd PG Lasswell and a 3rd Lunera. Out of 102 3*s though, all I got was a 2nd Greg.

Seeing a certain Meana get like 8 rainbows out of 60 tickets and daily was...salt inducing.

The only thing you get from awakening them to 7* is hitting level 101, LB boost, and their TM ability. All the other abilities are earned as they level, typically falling on 105, 110, 115, and 120. 120 is generally a capstone for stats/ability boosts and modifier enhancements, while 105 and 110 are generally the CD abilities or new abilities. Almost universally, 115 is a weak stat boost.

Anyone know if there is a cap on exp boosting gear? I've got the hat, growth egg, 2nd anniversary ring and the ability materia on beatrix but she only get 2.4 (i think)xp boost. Can't find anything on wiki about it. Using her on raid team cause the last spot is useless and I figure I can use the free xp.

As of now my tally for CG units is Lasswell 2, Sakura 3, Fina 3, Nichol 3, Lid 1, Jake 1 and Reagen 2. Hoping my luck holds out for the rest of them, because it's pretty shitty for rainbows usually.
