I loved FFVIII, but the characters are mediocre in FFBE and I definitely won't be going hard. if I get enough bonus units I'll honestly just use the remaining tickets for Star Ocean (gotta get that light sword) or save them.

Ended up doing 2 laps, got jack shit: 2 rinoa, 1 squall, gladio #6, CGLassie #4 (stm at least, yay?). Rng still hates me.

5% daily got me a blue that turned yellow... and stayed yellow so fodder agrias. But then the 4* ex ticket got me Fohlen so I'm ok. Gotta do the math to see if I'll have enough lapis for a full lap before it's over before I start one but think I will

I have a Zell and a couple 7* Squall/Rinoa friends... so I'm not really sure there's much need to pull for more bonus units? lol

Really don't care about having Squall/Rinoa themselves, and I'm trying to save Lapis for future step ups.

There's a bunch of cool stuff to buy: Revolver is 100k currency and then there's King Cactuars (50 normal and 3 maxed).

I haven’t seen a rainbow since Raegan, and with 3/4* units transitioning from “mostly usslsss” to “literal TM fodder” my excitement is dying hard.

With no UoC or similar system announced yet and yet another round of terrible and greedy bundle packages with little to no value over just buying Lapis, I’m worried.

Yeah these latest bundles are basically just like buying normal price lapis plus a few cactuars to make opening them difficult. And them continuing the no news is better than bad news as far as UoC goes is pretty troubling

the fact that the FFVIII login doesn't contain a guaranteed 5* at the end baffles me. the FFVIII banner is the introductory 7* banner... yet the logins this month are all 3* ex tickets, and the FFVIII rewards don't add a ton to that.

removing UoC tickets from the event without replacing them with something, even a couple of 50% 5* tickets, is also troubling. they say they're working on UoC alternative and that's fine, but just removing them in the meantime without replacing them stinks.

I remember when 7*s came to JP there was a lot of concern on the GL side, but the JP players kept reminding us that they made 5* units a lot easier to get in the 7* meta. they haven't done that in GL yet, and it bothers me.

I have a small glimmer of hope that when they DO finally release our UoC system, they'll give us one free pull to try out the system. In reality though, I can imagine them either selling a bundle that includes a UoC pull, or giving us 1/10 of a UoC pull as a 'gift' for the release of UoC.

Only got enough for 4 steps right now but Dark Fina #2 and Rinoa and enough Zells to fill out rest of a farm team so yay. Here's hoping final step is another Rinoa I guess for farming purposes

Had some weird stuff though like one step had a ton of yellows and they were all off banner. Funny part was had 3 lexa's in a row but when it was on banner took forever to get the 2 I have. Also goddamn a surprising number of stuff that isn't even worth fusing as TM fodder like just not worth the space in my unit inventory

Yeah honestly I think this is what they are counting on with these. This batch and particular has been the closest to straight up buying lapis as I've seen since I started back in feb

might come back in a day, might start a new game, who knows... gacha does get tiring when you can play games where you don't have to pay for a chance to get what you want. maybe I'll just chill with daily logins until Best Waifu enhancements come
