I'm convinced the off-banner rate on that banner has been tweaked. like, not even kidding here... Gumi would do that. they've done shit like that before (hello, Zidane).

I was pulling for a second copy of the 3* unit. I've pulled 6 or 7 of the 4* unit, 1 3* and 0 5*.

Of course, on the Squall banner it's 7 of the 3*, 1 Zell and 0 Squall or Rinoa. (Just a single pull on step-up.)

Anyone else still having issues with friends list? Seems to me I'm only seeing like 8-10 of my friends list people and about the same number of non list people. And they rarely seem to change.

I kind of like him and his TMR right now. I wouldn't get too bummed by his 7*. It looks like jp got speedstar enhancements (which we got their enhanced version as our normal) instead of the aggravate enhancements we got. So I could see GL carrying thru with a more provoke tank themed 7* given the glex enhancements we had boosted Aggravate to 100% and gives 3 shadows

Same. Instead of changing per run, it's more like it only rotates if you use 4-5 people from either your friends or not. Pretty stupid, really, and why they don't have a friend refresh button yet, idk.

My theory is that they didn't get the rights to Selphie, so they made her blonde and renamed her Ramira.

Weird that S-E would give the go-ahead for Squall, Rinoa, and Zell but hold off on Selphie for some reason.

This is like when that FFT banner had Orlandeau, Ovelia, and then Soleil and some other made up person. Could have had Celia and Lede there instead.

selphie is probably being saved for 5*. they need to save as many characters as they can to release later before they have to start recycling (hope you're ready for wedding dress garnet, wedding dress yuna, and opera dress celes... ok that would be an amazing banner actually)

I think you mean overly optimistic. Plus whatever intern thought it would be a good idea to boost his provoke ability was probably fired in the great we don't speak of UoC wars so they wont remember why they did it or if they even did when the time comes

Tch, Selphie is no 7*. If anything she's the most natural 3*-5* unit in the FF8 line-up.

Squall, Seifer, Laguna, Rinoa, and Edea are all 7*.
Zell, Kiros, Ward, Irvine, and Quistis are golds.
Selphie, Fujin, and Raijin no more than blues.

Selphie literally has access to a move that can 1-hit KO every enemy in the game including extra bosses and the final boss and you think she's a 3*? She's the most OP character in the game its just all slots lol.

Irrelevant, she's the most OP character in 8 its just some of her abilities wont translate well lol. Hasn't stopped them before.

Full-Heal and Wall could work into her kit in huge ways, she'd probably be a damn good healer and could definitely be a 7* Healer from FF8 with Double/Triple in her kit.

I could one-shot Omega Weapon with Squall's limit break, or I could use Selphie's and see a 90% chance that it does nothing and he one-shots my team.

OP builds don't matter nearly as much as plot relevance and Selphie is done mattering about 1/5th of the way into the game.

Check out Selphie in Opera Omnia lol, top tier FFVIII character so far. Plot relevance really plays no role in FFBE's rarity otherwise I don't see how Barret got the 4* tier and Vincent 5*.
Next FFVIII banner (if it ever comes out) is probably Quistis/Selphie 5* with Irvine 4* and a random junk unit.
