At least once I enhance him, he'll be a better buffer then Rena and Lunera.

Edit: Thought he was 120% buff when enhanced, but he is 100%, fuck, that makes him worse then Rena.

Looking at the 25$ lapis bundle with the extra garbage in it, it does seem like an overall better deal than straight up buying lapis. However i cannot fathom in the slightest how they can excuse charging 2x more for 6k lapis.

It's something I bitched about back when, but the actual value in step-up banners is lacking. If they weren't shit, then the free lapis choice probably would've been more popular. So, spend 20k lapis in 4x 10 pulls for the high chance of shit, or spend none with the same chance for shit? Even trying to justify on-banner rainbows can be a crapshoot since I see plenty of people who seem to get spooked by unwanted rainbows.

I mean compared to what though? Step ups are basically the best rainbow/lapis value if you do the full lap more so if you want the banner. Regular 10+1s are completely outdated terrible value these days. The 4x 10+1 value is really probably closer to 12-15k lapis when you compare what you get to what you'd spend on step ups or daily 1/2

But that aside how does 4x10 pulls beat 30 dailies + 30 of some combination of tickets and trusts? You basically gotta assume that you are going to get less than half of them being tickets for it not to be strictly worse. And then that most of the trusts are 1%s lol

Well, let's not forget they didn't exactly explain these banners well upon launch.

I still stand behind the belief that step-ups should be better, though. Cutting the 25k version down to 15k (3k/pull) would be a good start. The 3-step variants can be better valuated, too.

Decided to try Siren to dip my toe into 3* espers and ended up OTKOing her with 150% ATK buffed 7* 1928 ATK Olive True Shot +1 at end of Raegen chain.

Used the 4* ticket on Nali's banner and got a rainbow!.......which became Lightning #2! NOOOOOOO My Poor trust moogles!!!

J/K, happy as shit I got her since waifu and her 7* gives my future 7* Tidus a chaining partner!

The majority of the playerbase is f2p meaning they can't afford full steps to get guaranteed banner rainbows, that alone reduces the interest in any pure lapis option because the other steps don't offer much value at all. Also the total lack of information+ the confirmation of 1% moogles simply reduced interest in the free dailies as well. I've seen many assume that it would result in more pulls than the 10+1 on average but that's assuming tickets would have the same rates as 1% moogles and I'm 100% sure they wouldn't have lol.

It's been said a million times, and should be repeated: common pool 3* should be in FP as of like a year ago. Greedy fucks.

I'm fine with the worthless TMs in the pool so long as we're eventually getting the system that lets you trade them in for container moogles and UoC tickets.
