Just watched a JP team of 7* Nyx, MS Nichol, K. Delita, and 2x Hyoh one-turn Omega. Nyx has some kind of sacrifice move that fills LBs, Nichol did some buffs, Delita did what I assume was an imperil, and then the Hyoh's chained their LBs and destroyed it.

I going to join the side of “6 units better not be all the fucking 7*s we get this batch”.

They halved our initial pool and at this rate far more than 3/4ths of the 7* units they release will be obsoleted on arrival. Besides that 5-6 a month (our last batch was a month ago) is too damn small. GL needs to stop dicking around and pick up the pace on 7*

Yeah 7* Nyx is pretty dope lol. But yeah Nichol was doing his 150% full buff and lb fill (actually was needed since Nyx wont quite fill the Hyohs and probably why they picked Hyoh over someone with a stronger but costlier LB). And K delita's LB when you have TMR equipped gives -100% lightning resist

I'm just glad that OK is getting enhancements and 7* at the same time but yeah, small pool is small. At this rate Terra won't ever get her chance to shine if we end up getting Elly.

^ this is why I'm annoyed. I'm back to just logging in daily tbh. the rate of 7*s is half the rate that JP had it and it completely throws off the balance of the new characters.


I have no clue what Gumi is smoking, unless they just want people to pull harder on the new banners?

We're not JP. That's the problem. It's the problem with pretty much every damn mobile game. We trade being treated decently with kinda sorta maybe seeing the future.

Well you see this is to make up for the fact we are getting much less (perhaps none on the regular) UoC. So we really don't need 7* awakens as quickly!

I'm actually getting low on gil and still have to awaken Marie (and maybe Delita? Maybe) from the last batch. I'm ok with putting a little space between 7* batches, it's not like content has scaled up dramatically yet.

I put up 2065 ATK, 100% fire resist Olive for Omega Trial if anyone needs her, I also bit the bullet and dumped a 20% moogle (sadly was 4% over) to get my first machine killer to also put on her.

Gonna give Omega a try later, but I could only gear 4/5 for 100% fire, 5th one is gonna get 30%, so hope it survives opening by a sliver.

I awakened most of the first batch and still have 60m gil to my name lol. We're getting back to back Raids in the coming weeks (Deus EX+ Dragon Quest), it shouldn't be hard to farm gil if you run with eXon+ Steal.

omega has 2k mag. It wont survive even with 90% with only 30% probably gunna take over 100k lol. Unless it has some form of guts of course.

If you can get Cedona to 100% evasion (she has 20 innate) 100% fire resist and I think death immunity well and raise/refresh which is just barely doable without Rotl or protect grappler then there is a cheese strat. I'd try working on the evasion tmrs I need for that if it wasn't for the fact that like I said it's barely and well I wasn't around for Kiyomori and haven't lucked out on the 25% evasion accessories

hmmmm I could come out of retirement for that. it's the sort of challenge I enjoy. let me check my gears and I'll post in a bit if I can do it.

Bro you need to catch up. The story actually kind of good. Or at least juicy. And yeah phoenix pretty nice being able to give anyone raise

If you don't have rotl or protect grappler you need Kiyomori, raven beret or wolfs mask, twenty-sided dice, one of the several 10 evasion accessories, true spirit of freedom, 2 10% evasion materia, a refresh materia, flame mail, genji armor with phoenix equipped.

If you have the 25% evasion accessories there is obviously a lot more wiggle room which makes the other spots a lot less restrictive so maybe add something like dual cast or dual cast white magic (which would greatly speed things up since we talking the only dmg coming from what you can safely raise in that 1 turn every 5 or so that is safe to do so) or make up for not getting some event pieces etc.

I'll need to do a little more research but I think a ribbon effect might allow you to have more safe turns so that might help to.

Edit: yeah ribbon only helps if you stick around for a retaliation so like if you did something silly like try to raise with phoenix lol
