Changed my strat for Omega and just beat him twice for all the rewards. Two Olives with two chainers make pretty short work of him. I'll keep my Olive up with 100% Fire resist for a few days if anyone needs her.

Not like the raid needs BIS Olive to oneshot it anyway lol

Not really a big damage hit when Ifrit + adaman vest is 100% fire resist lol.

I haven't done this trial, why do you need 100% fire resist and why not VOF? He can solo ifrit

So he has really high atk/mag stats which means most damage is going to one shot most guys without some ability to completely ignore it. Preemptively uses a fire AoE move and every turn uses another strong ST fire move. But fire isn't all it does. It has even strong non elemental AoE magic move, snort, death move, various status effects and stop.

VoF absorption doesn't really do anymore good over resist since any dmg that hits will likely kill. Even if you geared him with ribbon and 100% evasion and death resist there would only be about 7 turns out of every 30 that would be safe for him. Luckily they go on a specific rotation which allows for cheesing unluckily only 2 units can hide for a single turn

Good to hear my friend units are getting work. And the fun part is that 132mil is after I took a bunch of gear off of her and reset her for Omega! She did 600m on her own, with the other 400+ from friend Olive in that billion-damage video. That's just... stupid.

And speaking of Omega, the cedona-hide strategy works pretty well to cheese the fight. I have both Olive and Cedona set up for it, so if you can provide the other it's a pretty quick clear. I actually had to set up Yuna to come along becuase Olive was killing Omega too fast. I ended up taking 30 turns.

I also finally finished Diabolos 3*. Now I'm just missing... Carby, Golem, Syphid, and Lakshmi.

Also, thoughts on getting Rinoa STMR (resist all ailments, 60% resist to fire/lightning/ice/wind, 50% charm resist) vs keeping a second 7* around for a chaining buddy?

Defeated Undine today to get the Azure Gem and Complete clear level 2 of the ruins. That leaves Bennu and now Antonella+ for me as undone trials. Does anyone know if in JP they've revealed what these Madam's Manor completion rewards are for?

tl;dr the lower your weapon's atk is (or average atk if dual wielding) the more it reduces your dmg compared to what it normally would do. Another note is this actually lowers the dmg dealt even with normalish atk. So like anything below 180 for single wielding and average of ~155 for dual wielding will do reduced dmg compared to before. Means going to have to think a bit harder on some of those utility offhands like killer effects and really pushes for stmr weapons

I finally did not get a blue on the 100% blue banner. Was a gold. Was sold immediately. Only rainbows I have got since the banner was put up were from a couple random 4* tickets I threw at a banner out of boredom. Did get Oldmandau to 7* though, as well as the TDW TMR guy from this banner. Unsure if that is a good thing or not though, as any of my future 7* physical dps that will could use TDW wouldn't benefit from the weapon selection on the TMR. Maybe Tidus, but I have Tidus slated for TDH.

Kiiiinda, this only harshly impacts Fixed Dice. Weapons even as low as say 70 attack only receive a very small impact to damage, sub 20%. So if they have a killer effect they'll still win, especially if you're dual wielding a high damage weapon.

Its RIP Fixed Dice entirely though lol.
