Wastelanders NPCs will loot player corpses.

Remember when in Skyrim/FO4 NPCs were looting dead bodies? Or when you gave your follower in Skyrim some good armor and he would equip it if that armor was better than what he currently had equipped? Bethesda reused old NPC scripts from previous single player games and applied them to an online game. That's why NPCs are stealing yor weapon when you're dead.

Last year we met The Appalachian Brotherhood of Steel, witnessed a conflict between the ranks and discovered new obstacles in their path. Steel Reign concludes the story of The Brotherhood, introducing all new quests, locations, NPCs, and powerful new rewards. Whose side will you take? Your choices will change the Wasteland.

To survive the Wasteland, you need good gear! This summer, craft specific Legendary items using Legendary modules. Tailor your build to perfect your playstyle.

The Cultists of Appalachia are up to something sinister in a brand-new Seasonal event: The Ritual! Help the cultists in Point Pleasant prepare an exciting and dangerous ritual, and they’ll repay you with unique rewards.

ENTER THE PITT

Expeditions send players to a city built on the remains of post-nuclear Pittsburgh, now known only as The Pitt. Don’t expect the friendliest welcome, however, as the local Union faction are caught between vicious Raiders, monstrous Trogs and other hostile forces.

Expeditions offer repeatable Missions for any player to go on, netting rewards like XP, loot and even legendary items! While anyone can join an Expedition, things can get pretty rough-‘n’-tumble in The Pitt, so we recommend at least achieving Level 50 or higher for the best experience.

This update will also include several tweaks and enhancements to the game, including adjusted gear for brand-new Dwellers stepping out of the Vault for the first time, making this update excellent for players old and new itching to dive into the game.

Word from the Vaults is that this will be available free through Prime gaming starting tomorrow. This week is a special event featuring a rotating list of past seasonal events including the Mothman Equinox (yesterday) and Big Bloom (today), and an anniversary celebration is coming up this weekend. Any newly evicted Vault Dwellers should participate in any they find pop up on the hour. I'm still very active in this game on PC if anyone needs advice or assistance.

Infestations is one of the buggiest messes I've seen in a while in this game. Sadly, stay away until they are fixed. Or just ignore them because you can't find any available on a public server anyway. heh
