And we in
I'm not. I have game pass and purchased the Premium Edition Upgrade, but I am still getting the "You're too early" error message.
edit: Tried a reboot and still a no go. Guess I'll uninstall and re-install next.
same thing happened to me initially, took opening and closing the Game Pass app a couple times (or maybe took Microsoft half an hour to get it sorted). everything gucci now
Staying just above 60 fps in the first city with Ultra Settings (other than turning off motion blur) on my laptop, GTG baybee
Re-installing the game appears to have corrected the problem. -2hr playtime. I hate the windows Xbox game launcher.
DLSS mod is out
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/111/
that was fast
how was it done though? doesnt DLSS have to be trained?
Not really since 2.0.
My general understanding is that as long as one of the upscales (FSR/DLSS/XESS) is present in the game they can effectively just be swapped around as long as there is a way to properly hook into the calls to the dll
86.4GB download, 116.27GB to unpack
ugh
intro is indeed p dull so far but the underlying systems feel strong, performance and presentation quite good, acting and writing better than expected. just need this bitch to open up and we got a game boyyss.
The general feel of the gunplay is so much better than Fallout 4
Spent like 45m running around the tutorial planet scanning shit and picking up rocks. I'm doomed yall
Be sure to have Windows updated to the current version and all of your drivers. There is a glitch upon startup that won't launch the game because it thinks the installed graphics card is too weak to play the game.
Turning off VSNC and capping the fps at 60 seems to be the best fix for the frequent crashes.
i've yet to crash or experience a significant bug, Microsoft enforced delay did work
also FoV fix already out, quite simple foray into an ini file. makes it kind of shameful it isn't an in-game option lawlz damn Bethesda all i'm doing is editing a few lines in notepad
https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/starfield-fov-change
theyll never learn that lesson. we've been editing the ini for FoV since time immemorial and Todd will see to it that it remains a tradition
With about 6 hours of playtime I've had one crash, no real bugs I've noticed other than the usual physics jankiness of Bethesda games.
Performance could definitely be better, but I greatly appreciate the consistent frame times I'm seeing. Even at heavier areas like in cities the game feels smooth.
From what I've heard the bugs and lack of polish come out later after 30~50hrs. NPCs floating through ships and into space, etc.
