Not surprised. Even with the main lead shake up, their choice of "main villain" for the first season and such and other outside-the-suit bullshit really hindered a lot of potential. But really, it was just a continuation of late-Arrowverse problems by deviating from villain of the week to overarching plots.

Not gonna lie, I feel like replacing Batwoman as a character instead of the actor killed this show after S1.

Yeah, I didn't even watch after season 1 since I figured this would be coming. Replacing the main actress I'm sure is not easy, but it should have probably just ended there.

Honestly, even season 1 wasn't good. Both of the Batwomen were the only mildly likeable characters in the whole cast for their respective seasons. And as was already said the out of the suit drama added nothing to the show overall. The funniest thing was them trying to force Ryan and Sophie together, despite 0 chemistry, because Kate and Sophie was a thing in S1. Honestly I just want a real Batman show with real Batman villains not all the Batman adjacent crap we've gotten with this and Gotham and uh did Smallville have Batman? I stopped watching that show after like 1 season. None of the CW shows have been great to begin with, but yeah, not gonna miss this show. Much like Black Lightning.
