Cold brew and iced coffee are different though at least when I was a barista at Peet's it was , cant speak for Starbucks methods.

Basically iced coffee would just be drip over ice where as our cold brew we actually make a concentrate out of a special cold brew roast then add water to slightly dilute it but the concentrate has to sit for 24 hours before use.

Came home from work yesterday and someone had used my garden hose and didn’t put it back, wtf. Today I asked my neighbor if they saw anything and they said a homeless looking person came by and helped themselves to a hooker’s shower in my backyard with my garden hose. Double wtf. This. I make my own cold brew though.

Just need a large mason jar, good beans, a grinder if you get the beans whole and don't grind them in store or something, and a fine mesh food-grade bag. I make 24 oz/week and that dilutes to 48 oz. Though I don't usually fully dilute it, just a splash of milk and a few ice cubes.

Yeah I've made my own cold brew several times at home since I grind my own beans and make espresso, french press and whatever anyway.

The only cold brew I willingly pay the upcharge for is when it's Nitro. I love that shit, and most of the time they don't add ice unless you ask.

Yeah the Nitro stuff is good for a change of pace. Just to be clear, it is still diluted, just not on ice. In my case, I throw the ice in before I leave for work so it stays cold for the ride down and I drink it when I get into the office.

Come home Monday and no internet. Everything seems to be working just no signal in. TV no work either but I rarely actually watch cable to begin with and when I went to cancel/downgrade to just internet last time they gave me a package that technically included tv but so few limited channels might as well not matter but hey still cheaper than just internet. Check and nope no outages. Call comcast they first have me do a bunch of idiot checks I'd already done but I humored them. They tell me that their records show I actually have 0 tv service and it had been disconnected at some point but curiously was still getting charged for the box <.<. Anyways soonest they could schedule me was today. So had to go all day Monday and Tuesday but hey got the appointment for after work today... and not sure why but checking my email after making that appointment and sending me an email about it they shortly after sent me another one for tomorrow instead without asking for some reason.

Moved into the new building at work. They have those shitty low water usage toilets. I usually do a courtesy flush + TP flush. Now it's like Courtesy flush x2, TP flush x3. What's the fucking point of saving water if I'm flushing on average 2.5 times more than previously.

Not an absurd amount. It's just when you drop the TP, it clings to the bowl because there is so little water in there to begin with, then the first flush doesn't grab it. The second catches it but doesn't flush down. Then the 3rd finally sucks it down the drain.

Who cares if a tiny bit of toilet paper is left in the bowl as long as you don't leave a bunch of shit in there it doesn't matter much. Also eat less fiber and use less toilet paper if you are having to flush that many times. Never had an issue with the low flow toilets myself. We even have two of them in our house.

Actually eat more fiber.

It floats, goes right down and won't smear the sides. Less cleanup, easier poops, better farts, really nothing but pros.

If I had 2 ply at work I would use less TP. And I'm OCD wiping twice to make sure I'm clean.

And it's not a little bit of TP that doesn't flush, it's the entire wad that doesn't go on the first flush.

I have IBS great poops are a rarity for me despite a high frequency of poops taking place. Not as bad as Bane but still not normal.

I’ve been known to do courtesy flushes in my own home because sometimes I’ll just lose track of time in there reading shit on my phone and if you let the poop sit too long it can stain the porcelain.
