I'll take a look at that recipe later once home cause I do enjoy pizza but do not have anywhere I'd buy from based on taste alone. Well, there is one but I'm not spending $15+ on a pie for myself.
Bought the burger on Saturday and it was dated for either Saturday or Sunday. Forget which. I normally make a burger kind of thicker but recently attempted a "smash burger" I guess. Eyeballed 1/4 lb and put between two pieces of wax paper. Took dinner plate and smashed. Cooked in cast iron until crispy. Saturday I made it a double and used one slice American and one slice Swiss. Couldn't finish it but loved it.
I make pizza more than I buy it because we can control what goes in it. Plus we make various combinations that you don't find at other pizza places.
Roasted beets with shallot, goat cheese, and honey
Extra sharp cheddar, mozzarella, and romano with honey
Pulled pork pizza (when I make a pork butt)
Grilled chicken bacon ranch, cut down on fats with grilled vs breaded chicken, less ranch, better quality bacon.
Broccoli rabe and soppresatta
Went to Sonic yesterday while running errands for a milkshake. Assumed their large shake would be about the same size as 5 guy's, in n' out, etc. Was not expecting it to be baskin robbins 64oz huge or whatever size that damn styrofoam mug was. How to blow your daily calorie allotment in one shot...
So yesterday my coworker who makes all of the noises, she was making this Chewy noise but not quite Chewy. I couldn't put my finger on it until I got home and opened Steam and saw my last played game. While yes this is an exaggeration its not too far off.
I got an email my office was going to close Friday for a long weekend since the 4th is a Thursday. My wife had the nannies coming to the house on Friday even though she knew she had off because she figured she could run some errands. We decided since we were both off we'd try to go see Endgame since we weren't able to with the baby being so young.
Turns out they're no longer showing it in our area after the 4th. WELP gotta wait until August I guess.
ordering tickets to a 4th July event and hey it's $25 at the door but you save $5 preordering online. Sweet I'll take that... and then on checkout not mentioned anywhere else they tack on a $2.75 "convenience fee". Fuck you it's more convenient for you maybe but just as easy for me to buy at the door
Now this is truly a first world problem. Lost the save file to a game I have 178 hours invested.
Brutal
This year's super bloom in CA was insane, and for the first time in my life I developed allergies. I kept hoping it would subside overtime, but it looks like I am officially an allergic person (god damn this sucks). Gonna see a doctor to see what they can do as we want to get the kids a kitten soon. Thankfully, I don't think the allergies are affected by the cats as it seems to get worse when I'm out of the house than in. But I still get it indoors, too.
I will die for my kitties. I will die.
So about that, in a way this morning I was excited to start from scratch. I bought the statue that came with a game code for the standard edition. I started this right after being DS1. I recall hating DS2 immediately. I tried to get thru it but the entire game just felt off. I searched around and many felt similar and it was stated SOTFS made the game more enjoyable. So I bought it and could immediately tell a difference. Game has some things I do dislike a bit, but I really enjoyed the DLC.
