Never heard about washing before as well but why wouldn't you clean something you stuck in your mucus filled nose after. Seriously though there's been like only a couple of cases ever confirmed and they were all people using non sterile tap water. Turns out if this was huge health hazards we'd already be in huge trouble just from people going for a swim

I really hate doing overtime on the team opposite me for nights because of how lazy some people are. There's no apparent recourse and I've basically accepted that it's only part time I have to deal with it but seriously I saw the same two people that were supposed to be on the curb in traffic at least 3-4 times calling for breaks and just socializing.
I'm not going to say shit because it's on them but it is annoying.

Though the Sgt. over that team compliments me often and thanks me for my hard work, and again did so tonight. I just hope this shit gets remembered when I can finally promote.

We just got the social media talk reminder at work due to some people in other states being dumb. During said talk our supervisor even asked what we should do if our sherriff tries to friend request us , and as he said , don't do it lol. I have a strict social media rule that I never friend co workers. I keep shit locked down private as is but I don't need any drama.

lol, i was about to say. People have family everywhere. It is really the only way i keep in contact with the majority of them. I second that FB is for family only for the most part, i've watched too many people lose their jobs because they friended co-workers and got fired for posting something.

I dont know what your working environment is like, but I would hate to go to work with people I couldn't consider friends. Needless to say I don't know if I would friend them without having a lot in common (I'm done with Facebook, though). That's what LinkedIn is for.

If you are only working with people you consider friends, you sir have found an amazing place. That said, most of the time i've seen the issue come up it was not the direct person that was friended, but a friend of a friend that saw a post.

Related, had a workplace social media fail today. Our intern made a very, very dumb decision.

She posted an IG selfie with the caption, “Feeling cute, might Monday massacre today” and tagged our office location. Management flipped the fuck out, reported it to corporate and local police who in turn handed it over to Homeland Security. So yeah, she has lost her internship and probably any college credit and might be on a federal watch list now. I’m 99% sure it was just a dumb joke but her fate was sealed when she tagged the workplace. Management and corporate are taking no chances when it comes to stuff like that in today’s world. She’s always been a bit quirky but nice to me. I hate she may have seriously hurt her future with this. But if nothing else it is a life lesson.

Social media was a failed experiment. We should just burn it all down at this point. Also I don't mind friending coworkers and bosses etc. because the only thing I ever post to my facebook is my photography which is landscapes and wildlife and that is it. Same with IG.

I like most of the people I work with, but I am the black sheep here so to speak. I listen to metal music, play video games, watch anime, have toys in my office, not religious at all, etc. Whereas a lot of my coworkers are deeply religious, enjoy popping out kids, etc.
