Don't forget that Dr's just recommend stuff you don't have to follow their advice. I know generally we all follow dr advice but it is important to remember the difference specially when having a kid because it is a stressful situation and you can tend to agree to stuff without really thinking about it. Make sure you and your gf really discuss the options with her dr and make sure the dr relates all the pro's and con's of inducing with you.
(I have two kids with another on the way.)
I guess taunting a baby out to get on top of the agro list is an interesting way to put it. Can't your wife just Shirk the OBGYN instead?
(Yea I know the medical term is Induce)
40 weeks is normal. It's counted from conception.
We were told they usually wait at least a week before inducing to see what progress is made, but they also ramp up the appointments to a few times a week to check on her. My wife was induced after one week and after the induction she dilated faster than expected which meant it was possible they didn't need to induce and the baby would have come out of its own accord within the next week.
Each doctor seems to have their own take.
Landlord sent me an email saying I had an outstanding balance that has to be paid off in two days. A balance of $0.00...what?
Well you gonna pay it or not?
A lot of fails today but shit just blew up in my department so here we go. I get to work and phones and internet are out. Something went wrong in the compressor room (I think) and sprinklers were activated in the server room. We get internet back up around 10:30 AM or so and I can at least text and email people. Phones are out until tomorrow at the earliest because parts needed to be ordered overnight. No incoming calls for the entire dealership.
I get back from lunch and my trouble coworker starts complaining about what we'll just say are a ton of "what ifs" in regards to commission and today's issues. After a few minutes of back and forth between her and the manager it's almost full blown shouting with her playing victim. Now it's mostly silence in a room of four. That uncomfortable silence where everyone knows why but there really isn't anything that is going to be done.
Oh, and Taco Bell didn't put chicken in my chicken power bowl.
Have a one on one meeting with a product manager scheduled in a few weeks. I'll be the subject matter expert for his product which I know very well.
Still no word about that raise though my dudes. Some day. Probably about the same time I find another job elsewhere.
My water pressure has been low the past week or two and I couldn't figure out why. The outlet in our pump pit went, but I've been powering it from the outlet on the front porch with no issue until I can either get my cousin to come run new cable, receptacle, and probably a 220 breaker rather than the 110 it's on, or find someone cheaper to do the work.
Got home yesterday, the dishwasher wouldn't run anymore cause the pressure was too low so I got the baby playing in her little tent thingy, threw some chicken on the grill, washed some dishes by hand, and took a trip down into the pit.
Was adjusting the low-end trigger for the pump to kick on because it was only kicking on at like 25psi where a normal city feed is about 40-60 psi. Start turning the nut and then test it again and I was turning it the wrong way. Okay, my bad, so I start back the correct way. I get it to trigger around 30psi, but decide to keep going, I want it to trigger around 32-35psi so I maintain a better pressure in the system and at the same time the system recharges higher, around 50-55psi rather than cutting off at 40psi. I'm guessing that's just because of the run time cut off rather than the pressure high-end cut off.
Anyway, I keep turning the nut and accidentally hit my wrench on the live line coming in and it sparks. Luckily I have gloves on, but at the same time I hit it the A/C in the front window shuts off. Immediately I think I fucked up the breaker, and possibly the pump, because the circuits in this house are fucking dumb, and yell out FUCK severally times in response. I quickly start turning one of the valves to release some water to see if it still kicks on and I turn the wrong one shooting dirty water into my face. It doesn't kick on and the pressure is at 20psi and falling. Start yelling fuck again. I run inside and flip the chicken on the grill, the baby is now crying, the breaker is good so I grab my voltage tester, I run back out, forget my gloves, lose my shoes in the bottom of the pit that now has water in it from me testing the low-end pressure, pump still isn't kicking on, but it does have power, so I start tapping the box. It finally kicks on again, so I start throwing the cover back on and it kicks off, start taking the cover off and it kicks on again, so the cover's just kind of sitting on it now, I throw my shoe out of the pit, hobble inside wipe my face off with my t shirt, grab the screaming baby with my hands that are covered in dirt, and run into the shower.
Finally get calmed down and cleaned off, but after all that the pressure is still shit.
This morning I flush the toilet and then turn the shower on and there is barely a trickle coming out of the shower head. I go back outside to the pit, check the pressure and it's sitting at 50 psi so that can't be the problem. I check the softener and tank and there doesn't seem to be any issues there, but I force a recharge on the softener just to be safe. Still no water pressure in the shower. What the fuck is going on?
I go downstairs to start tapping some water lines, checking the discharge from the softener, and see if maybe the washer is running. Everything looks good. I walk over to the corner and take a look at the in-line filter. I replaced it a month or so ago so it shouldn't be that right? It looks a little backed up with sediment, but that couldn't be the reason, could it?
I go back up stairs to grab a persuader (small mallet) and another filter, and start banging the filter cover open. It's 5:30am and I'm banging a mallet on the filter sending the sound through the whole house with a sleeping 4 month old. Get it off, make the switch, go back upstairs and now everything is fine. Shower pressure is higher than it was previously, dishwasher runs, I can flush the toilet without losing much pressure. And then I think of all the bullshit that happened last night and feel like a fucking idiot.
TLDR; Pump outlet went out a few weeks ago, water pressure started dropping a week or so ago, ran around like an idiot last night getting sweaty, dirty, possibly fucking up my well pump, while my daughter is crying inside when all I needed to do was replace the in-line filter that took all of 15 minutes.
Yah that's a good sequence and feels like my entire life right now.
So customer calls us like the day before saying we need to come in now several weeks ahead of schedule. Boss of course obliges. We show up like asked. Parking lot full, lights on but doors locked and wouldn't answer the door because it was their lunch time.
oh boy had a fun start to the morning. Get into work coworker says they having trouble with quickbooks. She's not used to it so whatever should be something simple I can help with rq…. nope. Check mine well shit I can't log in either getting all kinds of errors. Boss isn't in but I have the sneaking suspicion he's changed something. Close it on his computer and huzzah can open on mine but since his is the host can't multi user. Spend first 90 minutes of my day trying to diagnose shit to finally figure out he somehow fucked with the firewalls though claims did nothing
Add project manager to my job description.
I'm absolutely fucking exhausted from a shit day and night yesterday at work and of course they are still doing more solar panel work on our roof at our apartment complex. So all I can hear is pacing back and forth and the whole damn place shaking and vibrating constantly. I hate working overnights sometimes..

So it's been years sine my one cat has gone outside. Used to love the leash and just meander amongst the flowers, but we lived in many places where it wasn't feasible. Now we have this new kitten and the vet recommended I train him on a leash since the fresh air will be nice for him. So I thought, "might as well get a leash for both."
My old cat like instantly remembered what to do. She got on the table and sat straight up while I put the harness on her. She was purring and everything.
Go outside, she's fucking terrified as shit. Couldn't even get her to sit in the doorway with me. Poor thing. ;_;
Jack in the box got rid of their brunch menu. Their bacon, egg, and chicken muffin was amazing and now it's gone.

So you know how I talked about back to back death by trains near me like a week ago? Yeah well another one a couple of days ago and another one today. 2 suicides, 1 unknown/stupidity and this most recent one likely the same. Also according to the comments seems they use servpro to clean up and yeah employees having a hard time
Had to go to the bank today to replace my ATM card because fuck whatever asshole who skimmed me. And I only use it at the one credit union branch 99% of the time and 1% GooglePay to receive funds.
