Having a minor anxiety attack at work right now. Really think I might quit today but I don’t have any other jobs lined up. I’m miserable at the moment.

I had the same exact situation happen a couple weeks ago, got a major anxiety attack, and just told my boss i’m resigning on the spot. I start a new job on monday now, but the weight lifted off my shoulders from leaving my old job felt incredible.

I absolutely fucking hate Kaiser as a medical provider, everytime I have to call to make am urgent care appointment it's ridiculous.
So about 2 years ago they opened up a brand new multi million dollar cancer treatment, trauma and urgent care facility in Dublin which is about 15 minutes away from me.

However if you try to walk in for urgent care , like it's meant for they turn you away and tell you to make an appointment and won't make one while there for you. If you try to call to make one the phone rep says there is no such facility and that it's only a business office and provides no medical care , while I'm physically standing at the urgent care desk..

So instead they want me to make an appointment for their urgent care in walnut creek which is 40 minutes away and not the same day like I need it for. I love my doctor but this shit is ridiculous.

Yup basically that number routes to their generic phone booking appointment, you only talk to a call center who then says again this facilty has no medicine or medical offices.

I've been burned over three times walking in only to be asked for an appointment and turned away so I refuse to waste time again.

Was able to get a phone appointment of course with someone in walnut creek so they had to call a closer facility in San Leandro 10 minutes from me to confirm but fuck at least I got in..

If they opened the urgent care recently, the call center might not have been updated. Go to patient advocacy and let them know the runaround you went through. They dont like it when shit like this happens.

Oh shit gets even better. Get a phone appointment and they get me into San Leandro, doctor is cool and checks me out and clears me of no bronchitis just upper respiratory stuff , okay happy with that and tells me to go to pharmacy to get some things to help and a work note.

Check in at pharmacy and they ask what I want to refill..um nothing ? I just came from Dr. XYZ. The have nothing on file and tell me they will call when they have time , I insist I'm not sitting down until they confirm things.
30 minutes later things are "found" and told I have 4 prescriptions. So when I got called up and only one bottle I questioned it again..
So apparently two were OTC , which happens not a big deal and they suddenly found the other one. Seems to be a high dose sudafed so they take my info and driver's license into which is standard. Go to pay with my FSA credit card and only part of it is approved. I've never had any medication denied , and asl what was denied. They refuse to tell me, so I walk out with nothing.

Filing a grievance with kaiser come monday and come open enrollment changing fucking providers.

Annnnnd yeah, the pharmacy is always fucked up. I have to get my injections refilled this week, its always fun.

The pharmacy is the biggest pain in the ass for me. I take meclizine daily due to my menieres disease, so I have an open prescription for it for fsa coverage even though it's over the counter. Every time I put in for a refill, I note that I need it with a prescription tag for fsa purposes, and every time it turns into an extra fifteen minute ordeal as they ignore the notes and fill my other prescription but leave that off.

Congrats! I ended up talking to my boss about the future and didn’t really like what he said at all. Went home and updated my resume. Applying to places tonight/all day tomorrow. After the conversation with my boss, if I feel like that again I have no issues walking out and feeling that sweet relief you feel.

Reality TV just wasn't for me, or so I thought until I found Wild Bear Rescue. The show is about a few people in Canada that rescue (generally black) bear cubs and assorted creatures.

Seasons 1 and 2 were released in the US on DVD, but Season 3 is not going to be released on DVD. Does anyone have cable credentials that would let me log in to Animal Planet Canada?

I have two alarms to wake me up each day for work. The first one to wake me out of deep sleep, a second one 30 min later to let me “nap” so I won’t be super sluggish when I wake up. This system has worked perfectly for me for years. Today my dog decided after the first alarm this would be the perfect time to furiously lick herself, and I couldn’t fall back asleep with the disgusting dog slurping sounds. I didn’t get my “nap” in and my day is off to a terrible start.
