$1.50 here, but point still remains. $1.99 for a huge fucking slice of pizza, $0.59 fountain drinks, $1.50 for a hotdog and coke, big ass chicken ceaser salad for $3.99

I believe our Sam's Club (we don't have a Costco) is $1.50 for a Nathan's big dog and a drink. We don't have issues with randoms going there because our Sam's is sort of a pain in the ass to get to.
GAAAH!
So okay, I went to go clean the stovetop. When I was scrubbing around one of the knobs, there was a HUGE spark and the breaker popped. It's still not letting us pop it back.
..I figure the area's still wet or something, but this knocks out our oven too (weird/bad wiring). I was going to tell The Troll to get a new stovetop or call a repairman to check. Either one..I figure that's what caused it to pop in the first place.
Looks like I'm doing a lot of crock pot or one pan dinners for a while; we got a electric frypan thank heaven, but still.I feel really rotten about this too. But considering this started with me cleaning, I think it's a fail on my part.
TFW even your boss says "You don't look well. You should go home." I felt like shit before that, it just confirmed I look horrible too.
I didn't attach the hand mixer to the stand/bowl properly last use apparently because when I grabbed it off the rack I somehow dropped the mixer onto the floor. Still works tho!
So parts of my ride where the right lane is right turn only the bike lane comes in between that and the next lane to avoid the obvious conflict that could cause. So at one intersection very nice and neat is this line of glass all down the bike lane in the middle of street that stops at the intersection only to restart on the other side again in the bike lane but now that's all the way on the right.
This of course isn't too uncommon every street cleaner I've ever seen pushes stuff into the bike lane when possible... in fact even watched one time where there was no bike lane on that road so they pushed it around the corner to another street that did have one but for this guy to go on both sides of this is some next level making more work just to do a bad job. Also mind you all these streets have ditches they can push the stuff into
Resisting the urge to drive halfway across the country to choke a bitch. Friend had to get major surgery which had some complications after. Her roommates let her cat of 16 years starve to death because she refused a threesome beforehand.
That’s a lot to unpack but I’m gonna start with what the fuck
Yup. Had been telling her to get out of there before that, but here we are.
Wouldn't that be considered animal cruelty? I'd hope so at least, best case it's punishable by law.
In a perfect world, I'd say yes, but they'd probably succeed in casting doubt with the cat's age and saying it refused to eat. Apparently it died earlier in the week and they didn't even tell her until she showed up to get it and start moving out. Not sure if they even kept the body. Otherwise, it'd be 2:1 hearsay and not in my friend's favor.
Go into work and found out yet another co worker on another team is moving up onto the next promotional position , as in got the call while she was at work . This particularly stung because it's well known their interview score was much lower than me. However they are also on a different team than the other two moving on so I am assuming they can't decimate our teams all at once ( 4 total of 10 each) , so possibly she had the highest score on her team.
So yeah kind of a shitty day then of course as I am leaving work another co worker asks when I'm starting..just FML. I haven't gone one fucking day in the last month without someone asking me. I finally snapped and said that it would be nice if everyone would stop fucking asking me.
Unfortunately this is all because originally my name was dropped as one of the first to go and well..no call yet.

I lost my wedding ring.
Forgot password to my steam account and my steam app is also not logged in. For some reason it's not saved on my desktop launcher.
Try to recover the password and it is sending a code to the app that I need to be able to log in to access. Why the fuck is this the process rather than using the 2FA code that I can access in the app that's linked to the account.
If I'm asking to recover the password for he account, why would you ask me to access an app I need the same password for?
My apartment lease is up in two months. Went to go ask about resigning the lease today and they told me my rent would be increasing from $765 to “market value” which they said was $1000 I was like get the fuck outta here...I’m meeting with the property owner on Monday to straighten this out but they can fuck right off with that. Moving sucks but no effing way my current apartment is worth $1k/month.
I basically forgot I own Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4. Played it a few times and I honestly didn't care for it. A few reasons why.
It turned my PS4 into a jumbo jet noise wise. Never had this happen with any game before.
After the opening, when you are put into a camp in a forest, I have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing.
It seems you die so easily, but this is likely due to my short time playing it. Falling from a running horse and dying in a video game is dumb.
I had a lot of trouble seeing where I was aiming when trying to shoot. In fairness to the game it could be due to my eyes or sitting 8 ft away from the TV is an issue.
Since it's on PC now I figured maybe I'll sell the PS4 copy and eventually buy the PC version. Used RDR 2 is basically $25 everywhere. Since I paid $40 I sort of feel like it would be dumb to sell it for that price. I guess I'll have a long wait to purchase RDR 2 for PC for under $20.
Shooting gets way easier as you level up and get used to dead eye and increase its meter. Death from horse is always there tho, running too fast and clip a tree branch? That’s a death; run into a group of others on horses? That can be a death. Shit stand near horses sometimes and get kicked in head. That’s a death. It’s like a serious version of a million ways to die in the west haha

My main issue with Red Dead is that it's too much on the simulation genre to me. Having to worry about shit like eating and cleaning your horse is annoying crap I don't want to have to think about

OK so it truly wasn't just me regarding the deaths! That's good to hear about shooting. I'm sure I'll give it another go eventually.
I agree. I didn't get that far into things but it sounds like a huge turn off. I'm in no rush to play it but for sure want to. I absolutely loved RDR 1 from start to finish. Playing RDR 2 from the start until you set up camp and then who knows what you're supposed to do next, to me it was a huge disappointment. I think there is a point where "open world" is taken too far, but that's just me.
