Haha the funny part is I have actually in recent months had a sore throat a few days after so figured it was because of that. Unfortunately throat swab came back positive for strep bleh.

Actually was in Jersey earlier this morning introducing the newborn to other family members. It’s a small spot in West New York right outside the Lincoln tunnel called Dos Amigos. Only one food item on the menu, steak sandwiches lol. It’s still as godliek as I remember it as a child. I always try to go whenever I’m visiting and have the time.

Spent most of yesterday evening and night in that too tired to even focus on shows and nodding off but can't quite fall asleep. So pretty tired and everything is too bright now. Also a lot of sites but not all including bg going super slow on work comp

Go to relocate an employee and I ask what happened to the person whose desk is being taken over. Told she's been gone for over a month. Send a scathing e-mail to the lead, as well as our HR rep and my supervisor. Program lead starts bitching up a storm saying she's only on leave and will be back in November and doesn't think it's a big deal for IT to know when an employee is fucking gone for an extended period of time and is mad I sent an e-mail out instead of trying to hunt her down since she wasn't even in her office. God I can't wait for this other person to get back from Maternity leave and take back over this program, because on an IT related note, this person who was filling in for her is about to drive me fucking insane.

No, turns out wasn't an ex employee. Just someone whose been on leave for the past month. But we did have this happen at least twice this year where we were neglected to be informed of someone leaving and finding out their building access card was lost, so we would have to deactivate it, and they still had access to their e-mail during that time.
