Trying to get a late lunch at Chic Fil A and there’s only one lane open so taking twice as long as normal. And on a typical day it’s already wrapped around due to poor planning in construction.

Having issues setting up a my social security account so I can order a replacement SSA card, so trying to call their help desk. Finally get through the automated system and it's a 45 minute wait. Thankfully I have a private office so I can just leave that shit on speaker phone while I continue work.
god I fucking hate customer service
"can I get your bank account number?"
"our account is [insert company name here]"
I mean I literally had to say to her "the name of your company is not your account number." this is literally a thing I have to say to people.
god damnit my degree can't be done fast enough
Reminds me of doing pc repair at fry's. I'd ask people if they have a inkjet or laser printer and they would respond back that it uses cartridges.
Technically. I mean the entire time I was there we were only critical for a little over a month...
Fun fact I'm like 99% sure I'm the only person to qualify sub warfare or finish senior in rate quals who got there after the crash without either riding another boat or finishing after it got fixed. By the end they had a tiered priority list for people to ride another boat and I was first tier and nobody was in 2nd or 3rd lol
I took out my box of Halloween decorations that hasn't been opened in 2 years and was sitting in the basement. Some idiot apparently thought our very real mini pumpkin decoration was a fake and had put it in there with the rest of the stuff.
Suffice it to say we had to throw the whole box out![]()
Youtube has been borked for like an hour now!
Man thats how I fucking feel but I'm visiting family there that me and my daughter haven't seen in over 5 years and after the whole deal with my mother and expecting one of my grandparents to not survive any moment now man.
Wish I'd known about this so I coulda just not have planned this trip but fuck.
Me: Hello this is Kalmado
ppl: Joe?
Me: Hello this is Kalmado Insurance
ppl: Progressive?
Me: What is the billing zip code for the card?
ppl: *start to read the card number*
Me: Will this payment be on a card or bank account?
ppl: Why?
I could go on and on. I'd really like to work commercial accounts. Business owners take things more serious and are more apt to be engaged. Unfortunately my boss is not supportive of this because it's not instant results like Peggy needing "full coverage", a term used that's not even real, for her 92 Astro van she has a loan on.
I left a $6 tip on a $18 tab at Buffalo Wild Wings and somehow this flagged Capital One’s fraud department and they thought my card was compromised, wtf
Means they know you're a cheap fuck.![]()
I don’t think I’m terrible with it. I don’t even really think about tip % on a low dollar amount. I’m usually tipping at least $5 if the bill is $10 or lower and the service is okay. Usually $10-15 if my bill is more than $20 and less than $50 depending on service level. Once I go $50+ on the bill is when I have to start doing the math and using percentages for an appropriate amount.
I'm usually a 20% tipper unless the service is outstanding. I never lower tip based on food. Low bills it depends on what did I have. Like, if my tab is $15 but it was for 3 beers, I'm probably going to tip $3. But say I spend $7 on lunch and the service is good I'm going to tip $3, which is obviously a higher percentage than the beer scenario.
I was just giving you shit lol
I usually default to 20% unless the service is exceptionally good or exceptionally terrible.
