74 or 75 I can understand, but lower than that idk. Instead of putting on sweaters and shit just keep it at 74 and keep wearing the shirt you were wearing all day.

Lately it's low 30's to high 20's from 6 p.m. on. We keep it at 67 in the house. I wear shorts, t-shirt, and hoodie is off and on depending on my comfort level.
Looks like Uber is wanting me to quit earlier then expected. New pay rate went live today. Their "rebalancing" increased time by 62% (so east bay where I drive went from .1275 a minute to .20655 a minute) and decreased distance rate 32% so that dropped from .75 a mile to .51 a mile.
We keep it 63 during the winter, let it slip to 55 while we sleep. Heater turns back on around 3 AM so it is back up to temp when we get up. We both wear our normal home stuff (Most of the time i don't bother with a shirt). But we keep these down comforter in the living room and bedroom. I don't care how hot you like it, these things will melt you in the dead of winter. They were created in Satan's Kitchen.
Ok this really gets me. 70 outside still is warm. Who the hell gets cold at 70 regardless of what they are wearing. I'd be giving you the side eye if you turned on the heat if it was 60 inside. That's still shirt and T weather baby
My fail. we get company jacket and shirt to wear while working with company logo and such. I keep my rain jacket on my chair usually. Notice one day it's gone. I'm like wtf my jacket. Boss just laughs and says idk. I'm like this aint funny wtf goes to a corner desk and just takes someone elses jacket? Like we all have 1-2 of our own. Finally he admits he did it probably cause his was wet... no shit it's a rain jacket that's what they are for. You put on a different one each time you go out in the rain? And says just use that one... except now it's also covered in dirt and dust that has been ground in from the rain and some grease
Those situations are very few and far between. In over 2800 rides I've done on Uber, I can look up maybe a dozen rides where I would make as much or more off of the adjusted rates. I went and looked at a bunch of non minimum fare Uber X rides I did just over the past weekend. Every single one would pay between 1-5 dollars less. Add in the fact gas is anywhere from 3.50-4 bucks a gallon. Talking to other uber drivers, and the only ones benefiting off of this are specific congested areas like the las vegas strip, or San Francisco financial district during commute hours. If the majority of your rides are in un-congested cities or freeways, you are losing money off of each ride, and you can bet Uber isn't adjusting what the passenger pays either.
So far this year it's been colder than normal for these months. Haven't had one true bad snow yet. I'm south MI about an hour or so north of the Ohio border. We don't get it bad like say 3+ hours north or northwest. Now there, nope. But ice and what not here? Tis nothing to worry about.
walking (and driving) on snow/ice is a learned skill. once you learn it you almost never fall on your ass, and when you do it's because you weren't paying attention.
it's quite easy. and, honestly, the only place you have to do it is between your car and whatever door, because the way locals deal with that shit is by dealing with it as little as possible.
Or you can go to costco and get some cheap crampons that give you added traction on the ice and snow and just slip over the bottom of your regular shoes. I used to use those all the time when I worked at a ski area cause I was tired of falling on my ass in our parking lot.
git gud, scrublord
I moved there from Florida in 2002 and stayed until 2006 so no thanks and during that time had to learn to drive in snow , sprained my ankle slipping on ice , went through the major blackout and broke my foot ( not weather related). I lived outside Detroit in Redford Township. I miss it sometimes though. Especially for paczki!
Amazon has locked my account 3 times in a little over 24 hours for supposed suspicious activity. No hey is this you no just hey you hacked try again in 5 hours. First time I called they said idk that's weird there should be an option to verify but we'll talk to the people and you should be fine in a few hours but if not you'll get a call from the people who work in that department within 24 hours. Well try again and locked out again. Get same story but get to talk to a supervisor who says they will escalate it and it will be resolved within 3 hours and will be able to complete purchase. 4 hours later locked out again and the person I talk to refuses to help just keeps saying wait 24 hours... which it's already been by this point. Since when did Amazon customer service get so terrible
Edit: Update they now finally send me an email... thanking me for informing them of the unauthorized access to my account. Mother fuckers didn't listen to a goddamn thing I said
Double edit: And they wont let me leave a review either because I haven't made a purchase since last Christmas time
Get to listen to my PC sounding like I have crickets in a blender while waiting for a replacement fan to get here. Particular one in question seems to go out every 2 years. Just makes me wish I had a PC part store somewhere within the vicinity, as I'd be okay paying a few bucks extra just to not have to wait on shipping.![]()
buy extras and just hang on to them
Going out in 2 years is pretty bad though might want to look for a different model/brand. Or maybe some kind of fan control program
