Not sure where to put this or if it deserves its own thread. Linkin Park has a new singer - Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara.

Yeah fuck her and fuck them. Total disservice to Chester. What a disgrace.
I'd assume the people who actually knew and worked with him for years can make an accurate assessment of honoring his memory over people on the internet.
Wonder if people were that bitter over Alice in Chains getting a new lead singer after Layne's unfortunate passing.
That said, I'm fine with Linkin Park continuing on. It's been 7 years, but her voice does not have the bite that Chester had. It's the same with 3 Days Grace for me, new lead singer they have has a good voice, but it doesn't work with the older stuff. I see the same issue with her and the old music.
Hybrid Theory still rips but haven't really cared about Linkin Park since high school. that said the band can move on however they like, he was their friend and their partner. kinda liked Dead Sara tho, bummer to learn the singer is a piece of shit
I assume people did not open Tomiko's spoiler, because that's exactly my issue. And her shitty half apology to try to smooth things over means fuck all. I'm totally fine with bands continuing on, I have no issue with that. But I fail to believe Mike "NFT" Shinoda and co failed to realize her bullshit history that is in complete opposition to what happened with Chester.
yeah if it can be discovered and blowing up on twitter and other places within an hour then they either knew and didn't give a shit or couldn't be arsed to do some basic vetting
It was a known thing already, she just wasn't high profile enough for anyone to care. Cedric called her out on social media a couple years ago and it's the exact same Instagram post just getting recirculated.
New WU LYF. Cheeky title, hopefully the "new life" will sound more like the old life than this song. It's pretty good though.
Morning time dog walkin music
This bastardization of Mad World is such a banger.
