I mean, everything I've heard from Benjamin himself has stated that the bolded/underlined part is not true. Also, that verbiage is different than what wiki has so where did you get that snippet?

I know in some people’s point of view it’s never okay and I won’t argue that as it stands now the word is just toxic to use regardless for any reason, but he wasn’t using it because these NeoNazis weren’t acting like white people should like (the wiki?) article implies, they were acting like the exact type of people they themselves call the redacted word. He admits the flaws in his execution and it not being in good taste, but his intent was to use their own verbiage against them to call out the ridiculousness of their views and even use of that word.

He was taking to racists. Racists who hate (N) and describe why they hate them and he called them out saying they’re acting like the people they stereotypes wrongly that they hate so much and use as a platform for their white nationalism.

I’m not going to say we should all drop the hard R here but so long as that word is forbidden to be used in any context AT ALL for ANY reason it will always have the power to be used in a malicious way by racist and it will always have the exact effect they want it to have on the people they’re insulting.

Shit I know were not changing how society views that word because of this, Id only ask for a bit of leeway in context of intent, he wasn’t implying they “weren’t acting white enough” or even insulting the black community, he was trying to use their bigotry against them by telling them they are acting no better if not worse than the people they hate and believe, wrongly, to act like that.

Idk, maybe I’m of the wrong mind here but I believe intent and context matter, at least enough for it not to be such a black and white (no pun intended) issue.

Also I seriously got a moment forgot Sargon was Carl Benjamin so seeing Benjamin, his last name, in the quotes threw me off a second.

Why ever? What is the benefit of it? Especially relevant to someone who isn't actually racist. Same applies with plenty of other words with other connotations.

It is a good thing emotional support animals are not protected under the ADA. Also only miniature ponies and dogs are protected service animals.

People would be more accepting of support animals if so many assholes weren't out there lying about it. I work at a theatre and periodically ask "Is that a service animal?" Some people yes and we both go on with our day. Others jump straight to 11 yelling "you can't ask me that! It's none of your business! I don't have to prove anything!" You are correct, no proof is required and it isn't something I could ask anyway. I also can't ask what it does for you. All I am putting forth is a simple yes or no question. Strangely, those who got defensive are ones I also tend to witness playing with it just like any other pet before they walk into the building.

You are legally allowed to ONLY ask these two specific questions about a service animal according to the ADA's website. When it is not obvious what service an animal provides, only limited inquiries are allowed. Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform.
