Strangely enough I too miss Leif and NB. Couldn't we at least quarantine them to one specific thread to shitpost in? No posting outside of their little corral? Would be good entertainment. i was the one who outed Bum and maybe it had to come from an outsider with fresh eyes but i didn't get why you all thought he was a black dude, he always seemed to me the prototypical overcompensating white radical who made it through the introduction of a Chomsky book once.

It was less that we thought he was black (I mean, iirc he liked Bernie) and more that he woke up so hard that his skin changed color and no one wanted to take the plunge and find out whether he was really improbable and black or a cartoon and white. He turned out to be a cartoon.
