Nynja what's your opinion on the death penalty?

Shits situational?
Does manslaughter deserve the DP? No.
Does someone who attempted to commit a mass murder / terrorist type attack deserve the DP, even if they failed and their death toll was 0? Yup, no point keeping someone with that kind of malicious intent alive, they're a threat to everyone around them.
Does someone who committed murder deserve the DP? No. Committed a second murder? Get rid of em. Mass murderer? No question about it.
Someone who harms animals for their own sick pleasures? Absolutely.
Disney had to go back and redo animations for Princess Tiana in Wreck-It-Ralph 2 after people complained that she wasn’t black enough and accused Disney of “whitewashing” her. They returned her to looking more in line with how she looks in The Princess & The Frog film rather than the slightly stylized version the other princesses look like.

Total War: Rome II getting reviewed bombed by gamers angry that female generals were added... the patch added the generals back in March. Apparantly it got linked to The Daily Stormer and some guys threw a shit fit, especially after a femals dev said the game is "historically authentic, not historically accurate".
Can you play this game online? I feel like I want to buy this game, make all woman General armies, and go kick everyone's ass. If I can add Bobby Hill's voice shouting "That's not your purse!" and "I don't know you!" as I charge the enemy so much the better.
Define seriously pursued. Make it to trial? Yeah it's about on par with any other crime and shares a slim majority for conviction rate like most crimes. But the majority of ones actually reported never even get there because their aint shit to go off of
Twitter 'Dehumanization Policy' Aims to Curb Hateful Speech
Well that seems rather broad. Does this mean only in Florida is now dehumanizing speech!?!"Dehumanization: Language that treats others as less than human. Dehumanization can occur when others are denied of human qualities (animalistic dehumanization) or when others are denied of human nature (mechanistic dehumanization). Examples can include comparing groups to animals and viruses (animalistic), or reducing groups to their genitalia (mechanistic).
"Identifiable group: Any group of people that can be distinguished by their shared characteristics such as their race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, serious disease, occupation, political beliefs, location, or social practices."
No clue but the appearance rate of the female generals is low except for one faction so even getting female generals isn't too common which makes the complaints even sillier. Full stop, if Metroid was released in today's climate, there would be some raging man babies once it was discovered Samus has a vagina.
I meant it as the Metroid series releasing nowadays instead of it's initial release back in the 80s.
People on bg buying into the trope gamers wont play games w lead females? Cmon dude.
i mean it was p rare but Boudica and Zenobia led their armies into battle and were two of the more important leaders of the time, Cleopatra fought with Marc Antony at Actium, Pyrrhus was killed by an old woman with a brick, etc etc. it is less historically accurate to pretend there were never female generals.
yep. fucking sword maidens errywhere.
Most people will play games with lead females. Insufferable cunts will throw a stink if a female is introduced in a game they think shouldn't have them i.e. the silly outrage over Battlefield's introduction of women soldiers. I mentioned Metroid cause it was the first that "tricked" the player as to the gender of the protagonist (which doesn't matter aside from representation points).

Take with a grain of salt since trolling is out in full force but clearly some gamers are butthurt.
The amount of people butthurt is always dramatically overstated with this stuff.
Almost no one gives a shit, but with all these articles you'd think it's a majority.

Your primary objection to the "culture of believe the accuser" is that it has "life-ruining" implications the small percentage of men who are falsely accused. Even though statistics demonstrates they are very far and few between and that adding harsh penalties for false accusations (on top of preexisting recourse in the system) would stymie already dramatic under-reporting, your stance is that it's problematic for victims of the system.
So I'm curious as why you think it's okay for the state to use the death penalty, which has life-ending implications, for a small percentage of people who are falsely convicted.
