you're missing out the books are grand
Unrelated i saw the term cisgay today
Not sure what's noteworthy about that unless you don't understand what cisgender means.
Just never seen the term I guess, seemed to be derogatory but coming from a trans, idk what it meant
i can only guess, but i'm assuming maybe they were referring to someone who was trans and gay? because sexual identity and sexual orientation are two different things, and it's possible to be both trans and gay. that's just a guess though.
Hermione being black and Dumbledore being gay changes exactly zero of my HP experience. Therefore my careometer is exactly at zero. I cannot fathom the issues people have with this shit.
On a note about Hermione: have these people every seen a play before? They do that shit all the fucking time in theater. Race/sex/orientation/etc. has never been that big a deal. Especially regarding a fictional character. Fucking white as shit people play Othello all the time. I think we can handle having Hermione be played by a black person just fine. If it helps an entire race of people have an easier time connecting to an awesome story, more power to them.
Wait, is that how that works? Unless there's some lore I missed somewhere (I'm not a diehard fan) I aways figured Nagini was always a snake and Riddle/Voldemort killed someone to make it into a horcrux. Was there something that made Nagini an animagus that can't change back into a human?
One of the complaints I'm seeing is that Nagini is treated like an animal by Voldemort.
But like
Voldemort is the villain.
