When I build a six pack at one of my local beer spots I'll usually have two or three of them that are 11.5% to 13% and fill the rest with usually a specific 9.75% beer I really like. I can do the entire 6, but I'm fucked after that. I've also had one 16.5% beer and an 18% beer and if you let it settle in you really don't need another.

True! I've never actually tried drinking a 15% alcohol straight up to see where my tolerance would be. If I was really throwing down drinks I could probably do a fifth of 80 proof whiskey. But that's mixing with diet soda and heavy on the ice. Not sure where I'd end up with a 15% liquor.

When I lived in Germany there used to be a bar by my house I’d frequent that strictly did only local brews. With the weakest one coming at around 11.5%, all the way up to 19%. It hosted our weekly cash games, so the trick was to wait about an hour or so. The Germans would be wasted by then lol.

I don't do with much either. Most are slow sipping if you do that but yeah I got some strong wines that go down real smooth don't taste or feel strong at all... but boy by the time you finish the bottle you are making bad life choices like some mixed drinks to go with that before walking to some happy hour lol. Also found a 20% cider at an awesome restaurant tried the other week but wasn't feeling like trying plus thing was like $30 for the bottle

I think most people could see why he was pissed. That's why the BS response has almost 60k downvotes in a week.
