Five Guys tastes good but always makes me feel like I just ate two patties carved out of pure fat when I'm done. Shake Shack all the way.
Also to contribute to the topic William & Mary Law students were just coerced into standing and applauding a guest speaker who came in and went on a rant against immigrants, gays, and the Kavanaugh investigation and then implied he would sue anyone who said anything bad about him. Their justification is that he "had a tough upbringing" and "actually does a lot for minorities," and they need to stand and applaud because "he pays for their education." W&M students pay $150k+ by the way, and that's if they're in-state.
This is the worst take this thread has seen in ages
That's kind of weird. Last time I did the math they should be using beef with similar leaness to In N out. If you want to feel extra like that though go to Fat Burger. They have a XXXL burger that made even me feel like my arteries were clogging on the spot. Never had Shake shack though... none near me and tried to go when I was in Fl cause bg raved about them and ex was like naw we have to go to 5 Guys... I'm like I can have that anytime though. Should've broke up with her right then and there I think
5 Guys is miles behind Shake Shack and is behind In n Out by a lot imo as well.
I have one of each near me, the 5 Guys is much closer and I've been there once. Shake Shack gets all my love.
I always hit up Shake Shack when I’m at the MGM. I don’t eat at Five Guys often despite having quite a few near me. I just remember it being super greasy.
WTF is wrong with you people. Shake shack is a fucking joke. I would eat McD's before SS and i hate McD.
I've only had Shake Shack once and honestly I don't remember how anything from there tasted.
Would go to Cookout sooner tbh.
I've been to about a dozen different ones in 4 different states and every single one of them I still had to add salt. I think you are mistaking actually salting them some with oversalting since a lot of places basically do little to none nowadays. As far as the second part I agree... I also would put literally every single chain burger in the same category
I ate at Au Cheval in Chicago and now I can't have regular fast food burgers ever again. It's like eating greasy cardboard now.
I can't take seriously anyone who uses the abbreviations SS, 5G and INO for those lol. They also used day old burgers <.<. And their price comparisons were are decently different than what I see here
Super Burger for me. Like I still occasionally do eat some but a lot rarer now and mostly just when I want something quick and not cost too much that's high in protein... and on top of that most places the burgers make me nauseous now... though I think that might be slightly different reason.
I say that because I did used to still do Jack and Carl's and a few years ago at about the same time all their burger meat started tasting terrible as did the already frozen ground beef at Costco I know several people who also noticed it too. So might just be a distributor of frozen ground beef or something. Whatever it is though it was the first time I had a burger make me want to throw up since the last time I went to burger king and bit into patty that was uncooked on 1 side
Go ahead and don't take Serious Eats seriously. rofl.
I mean they used day old burgers... if you don't think that's going to skew results I don't know what to tell you
Fat people problems
