Why should he apologize for something he said as part of a comedy routine ~10 years ago though? So some Tumblr activists can get Power fueled boners over making someone with a better life than them grovel online for a comment they made a decade ago? First one is a "offense Olympics" reach, and he's even gone on to explain where it came from and how it was a reflection on his own insecurities and a moment of just bad improv/panic, I don't think its anything to announce a public apologize for. The second one i do think its pretty dumb to call someone a "fag" in any public setting even as a friendly jest due to the strong derogatory nature of the word.
