Meh MSG. The show was already sold out, which is NJPW logic for not needing to rely on this. I'm not saying that they should try getting away with some bum like Juice in the main event for it, but the idea that it absolutely had to be Okada like some people had been spouting is crazy. Is it a better choice than Sanada? Yeah, but I mostly say that because there's some doubt who will be holding the belt closing out the show. Just kidding, we know it'll be Switchblade.

For some reason, most likely "we didn't remember to actually book any of the Japanese guys", they've added a few to the show.

Ibushi/Naito and Tana/ZSJ are title matches. Also, EVIL/SANADA and Briscoes are added to the tag match. Someone must have told them that the tag match without them would have been absolutely terrible. I get waiting til today to add the teams, but what have those two teams done to deserve a spot in a match where neither are the champions? I'm all for those added title matches, but I was also fine waiting til Hinokuni or Dontaku, and they could have done tag/6-man here.

Liger is an official entrant in the rumble which is actually the thing I'm probably most excited for on the entire card. But for real, those last two matches were needed additions, at least one of them. Solid card. It's kind of tricky fitting this show in, since it's taking the place of one of NJPW's "big 4" and they are only getting half the card, so I guess we'll see if some of the people that are getting nothing good here will get thrown a bone during the upcoming tour.

It was the safe pick for MSG. Speaking of ROH, they are doing a show in Grand Rapids in May. Tickets range from $30 to $80. I've never been to a ROH show but for that price and the drive (about 80 minutes each way) the card will need to be pretty good. Thing is, there are only a handful of people in ROH that I'd consider entertaining. If there is no one from NJPW I'll probably pass.

Just from experience in going to 2 RoH shows, no matter what they put a damn amazing show. You may or may not see NJPW/Stardom wrestlers appear there. They don’t usually put the card up until say 3-4 weeks prior to the show on their website.

Surprises that appeared in my recent card was Mayu Iwatani, Juice Robinson, and Zack Sabre Jr. Considering the fact that Bandido, Marty Scurll, and Rush are in the RoH roster really has a lot of weight to the card already. Not only that, you got Dalton Castle, Kenny King, motherfucking PCO, Jay Lethal, Kingdom, Briscoes, and a lot more. My show also had Nick Aldis on commentary, and Willie Mack (NWA National Champ)

It is quite a long drive, but i did about a 70 minute drive to see my first RoH show which had Cody, Marty, Hangman, Young Bucks, Kenny Omega. They always have surprises, but the good thing about RoH shows is that you can nab good seats no matter the price thanks to the venues, i bought my tickets about 1 month in advance, sadly my show didn’t sell out, and i’m hoping this doesn’t affect sales since i want them to come back to UM. NXT sells out in the same exact venue.

Fuck it, I'm excited for the MSG card. Okada in a fucking title match against Jay White is going to be killer. ZSJ vs Tana should be awesome. Lots of matches where guys may kill each other(4 way tag, Ibushi/Natio, Lethal/Scurll/Taven, Cobb/Ospreay), a banger of a Jr heavyweight match. The only matches that won't be great will be ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH vs Castle because Castle's body is fucked and Mayu vs Kelly Klein. I don't even get how Kelly gets another match so quickly. She lost twice in a row and the second match was crap. ROH would have been better getting someone from Stardom, maybe Jungle Kyona. The Bully Ray thing is totally dependent on who answers. I think Flip will get a big pop, but I would mark the fuck out for Minoru Suzuki. NJPW didn't mention Kagetsu & Hazuki vs Hana Kimura and Sumie Sakai, but ROH and Stardom have been teasing it. The rumble will be fun and quick, so not to worried about it.

Speaking of Hana Kimura, she officially signed with Stardom today. She was previously working freelance with Stardom as her home promotion. Good on Stardom as Hana is young, has the 'it' factor, and is improving.

Damn you’re right, i remember seeing him like that. it made sense when in his match it was a 6 man tag, with him and the boys. The boys did a lot of the work, Dalton had little time in the ring.

May 11. It's part of the War of the Worlds tour so with this new info from Nit about surprises there could be some big ones. Possibly.
