The last Destruction show begins at 3am EDT. Seems like a show to sleep in and catch the final two matches in the morning or check the VOD.

KUSHIDA vs. BUSHI to advance to KOPW for the Junior title match against the winner of Ospreay/Scurll (Long Beach)
Tanahashi vs. Okada for the Tokyo Dome contract and possibly Yoshi-Hashi

Where's the champ? Is he going to be too busy at home thinking of sick burns to say about Tanahashi on twitter?

Tomorrow night or Monday morning they'll probably be announcing the rest of the Long Beach card. As of now, it's just the match I mentioned, Cody vs. Juice, and Bucks vs. GoD. Cow Palace card looked like ass until about a week before that show, so I'll hope that this one turns out much better than it seems right now. KoPW card will probably be announced at the same time too since that's in 2 weeks.

I could say it almost any show, but BUSHI is the best in the world at the gear game. The fashion ace, indeed.

As for what happened on the show:

He lost to KUSHIDA, which isn't really a surprise. Great match.

Tana retained in about 35 minutes and by far the best thing on this tour. That Okada guy isn't a slouch, but goddamn Tanahashi is so good right now.

Post-match, Jay White attacked Tana as well as Okada. Yoshi-Hashi tried to make a save but got his ass kicked after busting his face Titus O'Neil style when running to the ring. Gedo comes down, ends up turning on Okada and joining Jay White which isn't even all that surprising, considering Okada is a shitty ingrate.

Stardom finally opened a PWTees store. You can get the coolest Mayu Iwatani shirt ever. Doesn't even look like a wrestling shirt.

Today is a holiday in Japan and Stardom had the end of their 5-Star Grand Prix. Some pretty big finishes in storyline

In the blue block, Hazuki beat Natsu Sumire to get to 9 points. Mayu Iwatani and Momo Watanabe went to a time limit draw, giving Mayu 9 points and Momo 8 points. Since Mayu beat Hazuki, she advanced to the finals.
In the red block, Super rookie Utami Hayashishita beat Konami(booo) giving Utami 10 points. Utami had draws against Kagetsu(the champ) and Jungle Kyona and beat everyone else. Natsuko Tora beat her own stable leader Jungle Kyona. That left Kyona at 8 points and eliminated her. Tam Nakano beat Kagetsu when Hana Kimura turned on Oedo Tai. Hana hit Kagetsu with a chair which led to the pinfall. That left Kagetsu at 9 points which meant Utami went to the finals to face Mayu. Hana turning on Kagetsu is something I will have to see develop. She has spent her whole Stardom career in Oedo Tai and her mom was leader at one point. She is traveling the world a lot more now including competing in Pro Wrestling Eve's SHE-1 tournament next month.
In the finals, Mayu Iwatani beat Utami to win the 5-Star. She is the final member of Threedom(Io Shirai and Kairi Hojo/Sane) to win the tournament. She has won ever tournament and pretty much every belt(except the new one for the younger wrestlers). Mayu will challenge Kagetsu for the title.
Arisa Hoshiki will be returning to Stardom. She was before my time watching Stardom, but she was supposed to be really good at the time. She is still only 23 despite being retired for 4 years.

X-PAC says on Twitter that his ex-wife and mother of his kids has died. The way he words it makes it sound like an OD/suicide. Terrible. I hope it doesn’t cause him to relapse.
