Live action "Avatar: the last airbender" coming to nextflix.

I'd have preferred a continuation starring Zuko and Toth on a quest to find to find Zuko's mom. I'll still give this show a try, but my expectations are suuuuper low.

On the other had my wife has terrible taste and hates anything animated so if this show is good I'll finally be able to get her to watch Avater maybe.

They found Zuko's mom in the comics that follow the series. Theyve also established the Air acolytes that live with Aang's family, Toph's metalbending school, and Korra and Asami came out to people.

I've decided if they can keep the humor with this live action, this series will rock. Man, I forgot how much I laughed watching this show.

I'd rather this did well and they continued series in live action with netflix money. Keep last airbender story 100%. Maybe retcon a bunch of the Korra story if they get that far. OR just clean up the mess of the last season or so.

This reminded me I was waiting to show the cartoon to the kids when they were old enough. They are now, but it was recently pulled from Amazon. I imagine it has something to do with Netflix making this show.

I hope netflix puts the cartoon on their service at least.

More good news:

Jeremy Zuckerman, the composer who penned the score for the animated Avatar: The Last Airbender series, as well as Avatar: The Legend of Korra, will be back to create the music for Netflix’s live-action remake of the show.

Man those exit messages are pretty scathing. I think it was amicable it would be like “Nah we’re just thinking of 2 different things. We’ll take our leave”.

Avatar has gotten a surgence of popularity since ATLA + Korra are on Netflix, Netflix is doing the live action show, and Netflix is home of the “spiritual successor” that is The Dragon Prince. I can’t imagine that a new Avatar animated series is being made somewhere, especially since all these streaming services need big flagship titles.
