Can't decide which USB to claim for it. Any suggestions for must have things that are available?

Massive powercreep is incoming thanks to awakenings and brave USBs have supplanted some of the old ones already. (Eg. My Kain BUSB is just my Kain USB with brave added onto it.) I guess a healer for torment or some favorite if you don't have any of the usual usbs like TGC?

Finally got another chain out of 40 - Zack's. I guess it's starting to show its age but since I only have 3 chains and two are thunder I won't complain.

Was thinking of getting Larsa's USB off the dream, I need to farm holy 4 star a bit and my current strat is pretty RNG hoping the wrong people dont get silenced. Was there anything else on the choice too good to pass?

Zack's is like a 1.5 generation chain. Even being gen 1, the crit damage multiplier compensates just fine and is still a solid utility piece with his USB or BSB stacking imperils until you get Faris' wind Chain.

Zack's chain is interesting - fairly bad for magic although you can redeem it a bit if you can get him imperiling stuff, but amazing with cloud or melee with self crit up.

yeah, Zach chain, Cloud USB, and Bartz USB is what made Hecatonchier so easy - especially compared to 5* wind.

freebies netted me vayne USB, curilla USB1, thancred BSB, noel BSB and nine LMR for non-dupes. lightning USB, terra OSB, jecht USB, minwu BSB & papalymo glint for dupes.

as soon as i conceded i'd splash for the wondrous draw i said fuck it and got enough to cover an 11x for one last shot at KH.

WD 1/11, sabin BSB dupe. haven't done selection yet, was thinking something for water mage since i have absolutely nothing for belias. seems like there's no real tech here that fits the bill so now i'm stumped.

Palom and Vivi are mage generalists that can fit for any element. Palom has the easier access to w-cast on his LM2. Vivi requires trance. Only water mage item is Ryida 1 which is meh. So if you have Vivi and Palom, then I guess you can grab Rydia but I would choose something else that isn't of the top tier if you don't have (Elarra, Aerith 2, OK m/pUSB, Godwall, Vivi, Palom)

It will, Cloud dark AOSB and USB are not KH related, they originally were supposed to debut on 4A.

Rainbow Shards are currency that you get by converting 1*-5* relics into it, you then use the Shards to buy either ultimate realm synergy weapons (i.e. Ultimate FF8 synergy sword, which will have HUGE stat boosts only in FF8 dungeons) or ultimate elemental synergy weapons (i.e. ultimate sword with all elemental boost). Right now in JP, the elemental weapons are WAY more worth then realm, simply because they are more powerful then 8* weapons and have all elemental dmg boost.

I think you also get bonus rainbow Shards from dupe pulls, but it might be Anima Lenses I'm thinking of.

Anima Lenses are a separate currency from rainbow Shards, iirc you can exchange 5* relics for lenses that go toward a SSB or BSB of your choice and 6* relics for a USB of your choice. It takes 20 6* trades to pick 1 USB. Also the USB select is limited to only USBs before 3A. So for example, Cloud USB1, Vivi USB, Tidus USB, OK pUSB/mUSB can be selected, but Tyro USB3, Elarra USB, Palom USB, Aerith USB2 can't.

Edit: Also forgot to mention, you can use rainbow Shards to buy ultimate armors, but once again elemental weapons are WAY better.

Oh that sucks then. Oh well, I guess I can trade in my 5 Quistis USBs, 4 TGC USBs, and 8 Aerith USB1s for a crap load of Shards.
