OK, thanks for the advice everyone, I'll sit on the login tickets until the refresh and use fest mythril on only doing realm LDs I need the most before refresh (eyeballs FF2/3 with bursts only).

For the new torments, is it a renewal or just new tiers?

Eh just pull on whatever. 3* lenses end up a lot more common due to how the relic pools are (8x6* 6x5*).

The only thing good about ticket pulling Core now is the pool is smaller to pick up the grand prizes. Biggs Wedge and Dr. Mog dilute the pool a bit after refresh.

Had a lot of lame pulls recently. Had 100 gems so decide to use it on a 100 gem pull for the first time in a long while. Can’t seem to upload the image from my phone for some reason, but got Lunafreya’s Sync! My first one... is it any good?

It's unique in that it allows for damage and heals, she's better with the rest of her kit but her sync is basically the prize.

Leaves me only missing Aranea Glint +. I think its available on the next dream glint select, so i think I can safely stop now and go full into fest mode.

After reading about just how much mythril we're getting before/during fest (upward 300+) I broke down and pulled on XV since it's a weaker realm for me. Alphinaud's chain 2.0 as well, lol. Would be great if it wasn't a dupe fuck, it sucks complaining about a chain drop

I'm pulling on all RoP for cheap lenses. I have no expectations to get any grand prizes. In fact, it's all dupes or bad LMRs so far for me.

'17 Relics for 85 Mythril' is better than '2 Relics for 100 mythril' any way you look at it.

The additions of Rainbow Points, and Soul Break honing are just icing on the cake.

The reason I wouldn't pull is the pool is so large that the chance of anything to use is small. That being said, the preponderance of positive reasons has overcome my doubt.

So far meeeeh, but Cid's does give me a +holy weapon for him that isn't mnd based, and I do use him in my holy 5* mage party with his BSB. I don't know if I will ever need to fight that again (ugh I hope not), but that will make him slightly stronger if it ever comes up. The rest is basically trash so far. Only 1/4 on anima, too lol

So I checked book of trials to see how many record dungeons I need for the record dungeon mythril and the game dumped a bunch of rewards for trial book 10 in my inbox that included a free 11x ticket.

So I threw the ticket on the core banner and went 2/11: Biggs Glint and Tyro AWSB. Can now rep OK pUSB with Tyro, but I still need his USB3/4/LMR and Elarra's USB2/AWSB, so I'll try again with the ticket we get in a few days.

I'm trying very hard to not do any dream banners, it's nice that most of what I'd really like isn't really there. And plenty of free things coming that may give me what I want/need. And still pissed at how shit my pulls were 2 fests ago that made me swear off buying anything. Sadly missed on both XII (wanted Penelo USB2) and XIII (Lightning AASB/SASB) but we'll see if I can get Shantotto AASB from XI!

Yeah, we have a rewards program through work that I can get some gift cards through. I may pop down for a $100 card to get some gems, but I've held off so far.
