Transcripts are just are as hard or harder to get through since he stumbles from subject to subject and it reads like brain vomit. I honestly tried to give the press conference a listen on my way home from work but 1) since forever, I hate the way he sounds/speaks and 2) the way he dodges questions made my eyes roll to the back of my head and I didn't want to crash.

I've been trying to find information about it, I must have missed something. Wasn't the independent prosecutor supposed to interview both Ford and Kavanaugh? She was asking him questions (like "You are aware there's no statute of limitations so you can be convicted of the crime?") until the first break, and then she was suddenly gone.

Did they remove her because she was asking hard questions, or was the never supposed to interview him in the first place? They never mentioned it and just started praising him instead.

Also, lol @ "Devil's Triangle" being a drinking game and "boofing" referring to flatulence. I would have loved to see the senator explaining boofing and devil's triangle.

As a side note, he was under oath, correct, so he could be charged if he's caught lying?

I believe the original plan was indeed to have Mitchell conduct the questioning for both, but after ceding the first two five minute periods to her Republicans, apparently, felt their time would be better used apologizing to Brett and conducting a full throated defense on his behalf.
