The team is good and off to a hot start, getting hyped is cool, but acting like it's the most amazing team to ever grace the league and we should all revel in it's glory as it wins a cup is how most fans and media are acting. I mean, they are only gonna get better if they settle things with Nylander, so let's enjoy it but how about we don't force everyone to choke on it before we even get a month into the season.

Talking about leading the league in points and stuff? The leafs have played more games then literally anyone else so far, hell only 8 other teams have even played 6 games so far.. Hell, OTT and CAR are #2 and #3 in GF so far, lol. as far as great PP2, the Caps don't even use a PP2 unless the PP1 looked like they didn't give a shit, or it's garbage time so who cares about PP2?

I mean, the "lead NHL story" on "who gives a shit about Hockey ESPN" is; Will the Leafs win the East? and the Cup? and how many goals will Matthews score!?

on the flip side, the Leafs D looks pretty awful and who knows if Freddy can carry it all season. They are gonna HAVE to score 300+ goals, cause they are gonna give up 280 at this rate.

The Laffs scored 34 goals through 7 games last year, so theyre actually doing WORSE this year.

Oh, and they've given up more goals (albeit, one) this year as well, so worse in GA as well.
