Game was entertaining. Canucks took way too many penalties, and Caps made them pay. Gubranson, what is your role? Take stupid penalties, can’t make the first pass and not really hard to play against.

I want to go back in time to the first game where Getzlaf tries a behind the back pass and slap the fuck out of him and say no. Cause yes it's an awesome idea to throw a blind backhand pass at the blue line while on the powerplay down a goal. They played a much better game after the first but couldn't quite get it again. Just like the sabers game.

Gibson's gonna start getting angry at his team. Hes playing outstanding and their not helping him out.

I don’t pay much attention to the ducks but I always liked the way they matched up against the Hawks. But they don’t play a finess game. I always remember them dumping the puck and having an excellent checking game especially behind the net. Most of their goals I ever remember were hot passes from behind the net straight in front of the crease that popped in.

They've 'tried' to change their game but it's not really working right now cause their first pass out of the d zone doesn't usually connect and teams are jumping right on them. My comment last night was frustration at Getzlaf and his decisions when it comes to passing. It's not just him it's pretty much everyone. Kinda sad that our leading scorer this year is Silfverberg and hes been injured for 4 games now. If this continues I might get my wish of no more Randy behind the bench.

Nick Ritchie played his first game last night and I thought he looked good. Best part was he didn't take a single stupid penalty.

If dude wasn't injured on the play I would have been surprised to see a suspension. But since hes concussed 2-3 games seems likely.
